Stupid Politicians
Marco Rubio posted on his website for the people to give him their opinion on immigration reform. He got an ear full. So far, over 1000 people have posted and all are against it. And the analysts are saying that you can't go by this, that it does not represent all the people. Really? Lets put this immigration bill to a vote by the public. I think you will then get a really good idea where the public stands and it is not with turning over our country to a slew of criminals. I for one am tired of seeing the politicians cater to these lawbreakers. Rubio's father was one of them. That is why he is on the bandwagon. So was Ted Cruz's father. He was a terrorist in Cuba. He was fighting with Castro against the government. Somehow, he got out of prison, got a student visa, and came to this country, worked his way through schools. Worked his way through school on a student visa. That in itself is illegal. Those here on a student visa are not legally allowed to work. Yep. And he married Cruz's mother so he could get a green card. He managed to keep that green card even though he was out of the country for over 5 years. Then he just magically returned to the US, and lived comfortably on a green card for a total of 47 years. He got his citizenship in 2005 when teddy boy was getting into politics. These are two examples of what is wrong with this country. My take. Close the borders. Deport all illegals. Screw the dream act. Carefully vet any applicants for citizenship in the future. Oh, and no business visas. That is a joke. In fact ban business visas all together. This country belongs to the citizens and the damn politicians are just throwing it away. Makes me sick.
Gun Control
I am very opposed to gun control. Notice that those are advocating more gun control are those in the Eastern part of the United States. They are looking to the government to take care of them and protect them. This is not going to happen. Look at what happened in Boston. The government let those loonies into the country and gave them citizenship. The government has sold out the country for special interests and we are now supposed to feel sorry for all the illegals that are squatting here because "they only want a better life." They want to milk our system for everything they can get. They have no interest in being citizens. And your government cannot keep you safe. If your door is being kicked in, think the police will get there in time to save you? If that is what you are trusting to keep you and your family alive, then you are dead. Sandyhook. The mother of this spoiled brat paved the way for this to happen and the community sat back and allowed it to happen. No one questioned her buying guns for her disturbed son. No one questioned her teaching him to shoot. He was a privileged brat who was handed everything, allowed to live in his virtual reality, and had the weapons at his disposal to do what he did. He could just have easily loaded the car with explosives and driven it through the school. Look what McVeigh did with fertilizer, diesel oil and a rented truck in Oklahoma City. Look what the Boston bombers did with almost nothing. Want to clean up, stop importing these thugs because a lot of bleeding hearts are feeling sorry for them. Stop immigration unless the immigrant can bring something to the country. Stop student visa until the universities set up a monitoring system of them. The 9-11 bombers were here legally. Clean up the immigration mess. Then fix the problem not the symptom. Sandy hook could have been avoided. The theater shooter in Colorado could have been avoided. The shooting of Gifford could have been avoided. In the case of the Arizona shooter, the parents could not get help even though they knew he was dangerous. The counselor in Colorado warned the police about that shooter. Columbine. Yep. It could have been avoided. The parents of the bullies are guilty because they did not discipline their brats. The two shooters' parents are guilty. They either did not know what their kids were up to or turned a blind eye. Really? Could you kid stockpile guns and explosives in your garage without you knowing it? So stop jumping on the symptom and treat the problem. There is no longer any facilities for the mentally ill. Parents will not step up and be parents. Law enforcement has it's hands tied on all counts.
Remembering the Holocaust--Which one?
There is a 20 year reunion of those who survived the Holocaust and the veterans who liberated them. I will be the first to admit that this was and is a very dark part of our history. It is inconceivable that people could do that to other people. It is also inconceivable to me that anyone could just stand by and watch without trying to help. However, we had our own Holocaust in this country and no one has ever batted an eye as to how horrible it was and is. Maybe that is because it has been spread over 3 centuries. What am I talking about? The systematic slaughter of the Native Americans. The federal government set out to and almost did destroy the Natives of this country and all of the Americas. Yet no one feels compelled to erect a museum. No one feels that their lives built on the murder of these people is anything but deserved. My own people were driven out of Georgia, think Trail of Tears, because the White man had found gold on their lands. Also, because they wanted the land for farming. The buffalo were almost made extinct because if the buffalo were gone, then the Natives would starve. Some were given blankets by the government that had been used by smallpox victims. Anyone read anything about these atrocities anymore? Nope. Anyone care? Nope. My own Native American heritage was buried so deep that we are only now uncovering it. It was buried because of what would happen to us if it were found out. Until the 1920's Native Americans were not allowed to own any land. If found out, the lands would have been stolen by the government and the people would have been forced into the concentration camp called a 'reservation.' Where is the outrage? Not there. Think your government can't do that to you? Think again.

Back to abortion
Let's just pretend for a moment that abortion is totally illegal. Ireland allowed an Indian woman to die knowing that the baby would not live. Three lives destroyed. Father, mother and child. All because the imperfect humans wanted to play God. Apparently no one who attends a church of any denomination trusts God. They are all out to do God's work for him. Does not God tell the so called faithful that he will do the judging? Does he not tell the faithful that He will hand out the punishment? So where do they get off playing God? Ok, now abortion is totally illegal. A woman is raped. She is forced to have the baby. Her husband wants to give it up for adoption. The rapist protests and refuses to give up parental rights. Not only does he refuse to give up parental right so she can give this baby up for adoption, he sues for and is granted joint custody with rights to see and be a part of this child's life. He could even force the mother to bring the child to visit him in prison. When he is out, he will have the right to vist and spend time with this child. I would love to meet the man who could handle this if it were his wife. I don't think there is a man anywhere who could do this. My take: The husband will blame the wife and more than likely leave her and divorce her. Also, the staunch abortion foe under any circumstances, Rick Santorum. His wife had an abortion. He denied it. He called it a medically necessary proceedure. Any way you cut it, it was abortion. These men aren't thinking about the children. They just want to punish women.
Gun laws.
We do not need new gun laws in the United States. We need enforcement of the ones we have. Adam Lanz, the shooter in Sandy Hook Elementary School. His mother introduced him to guns and encouraged him in collecting and learning to shoot them. Now as I understand it, everyone in Newtown knew that Adam Lanz had mental problems. My question: Why was she allowed to purchase the guns with a mentally disturbed person in the house? Why was she allowed to take him to the gun range and teach him to shoot? Unless I am mistaken, you have to certify that there is no one living on your premises who have mental problems. So she lied. The ones selling the guns knew she was lying. Blame? Hell yeah! Adam Lanz's mother is totally responsible for what he did. along with those who sold the guns as well as law enforcement. Why can't we get the gun laws we have enforced? Why are we always screaming for new laws for gun ownership? The theater shooter in Colorado had told his psychiatrist that he had these homicidal plans. She notified the authorities. No one did anything. Nothing, Nada. The shooters in Columbine High School stockpiled their guns and other stuff in one of the garages. The parents knew nothing about this. Really? I don't know about anyone else, but when my kids were home, if they had been spending time in the garage, I would have know why. Again, lack of parenting. This along with allowed bullying by the school officials at Columbine. We just had an attack on a college campus near Houston. The 20 year old used a box cutter. Shall we now outlaw boxcutters? Bottom line is that parents are not parenting anymore. These people have not ever faced consequences for any of their actions. Also, the news media are allowed to make it gruesome entertainment for the world at large. Notice that the DA in Houston did not give out many details about the shooting on North Harris County College Campus? Are you seeing any details of the investigation of the killing of the DA in Forney, Texas? No. And you won't. Before you come after my guns, let me see you holding the parents accountable. Let me see you stopping the news media from making these killings entertainment. To see the gruesome aftermath of these killings are not entertainment and only encourage other idiots to do the same. And we have a lot more people now. Notice that most of these killers come from affluent families? Wonder why. I didn't obey the law because I had respect for the law. I obeyed the law because I knew the consequences if I didn't. I was more afraid of letting my father down than I ever was of a judge. My father commanded respect and he started with us as babies. We were taught that there are not to pleasant payments for the bad deed. Sometimes a belt, sometimes picking up rocks in the hot sun all day. He could get creative. Point is, we would pay for our actions.
