Been here too long

I think I have been here too long.  I just read an article on the internet whereby there is outrage over a song written in 1944 called Baby It's Cold Outside.  This era is interpreting it as a date rape song.  There were no date rape drugs in 1944.  As ususal, this era is looking for something to be outraged about.  And they will jump on anything.  We are rewriting history to appease them.  The Civil War did not happen.  The Holocaust did not happen.  I am surprised that they acknowledge the truth of WW2.  Oh, and we should not have dropped the bombs on Japan.  That was war crimes.  This generation needs to stick their noses in books and actually learn history instead of cherry picking it and looking for outrage where it does not exist. It has reached the point if you do not agree with these liberal fools and Democratic Socialists, then they set out to destroy you.  But if the tables are turned, there is a shitstorm.  So this 68 year old is disgusted and done with the human race.  If this is the best we have to offer the planet, we are doomed.  We are drowning in greenhouse gasses and this generation is absorbed with their own 15 minutes of fame and screw the world.  We could have another Eisenhower and they would scream him out of politics.  We could have another Einstein and he would be touted as an idiot because he doesn't agree with them. Education and hard work are no longer values.  I watched Jay Leno's Jaywalking on YouTube last night.  I was ashamed of how stupid, willfully stupid those citizens were. The foreigners he talked to knew more about our history than those citizens and it was not just the teenagers either.  And think those people can vote.  The level of ignorance is astonishing. And the search for outrage is appalling.

Unhappy with the state of my country.

My son says it is the advent of the internet that has expose all the mean idiots.  I guess he is right because if those people had said some of this stuff in public, they would have been laughed back to their hole.  But they can feel powerful hiding behind that avitar and spewing hate and thinking no one will know who they are.  It just shows how small minded and cruel they are.  Take the video of the model vacationing in California.  She is in the laundromat and some piece of garbage comes up behind her and puts his hand up her dress.  She was so shocked she just let him walk out.  She later filed a police report and he was arrested.  What blew me away was the men on the message boards.  One said he had thought about doing it but had not.  Rapist in the making. He just has not gotten the courage to do it, but he will.  Another blamed the clothing she was wearing.  Really?  I had hoped we had left that back in the 60's but I guess not.  Bottom line there is never an excuse for a male and I won't call them men for they are not, to do something this disgusting.  Men do not do crap like this.  Men have respect for women.  These are just sorry excuses for male humans. And I am waiting to see a woman turn on one of these men and drive a ballpoint pen into their gut.  That ballpoint pen can do a lot of damage.  No person has a right to treat another person this way.  No one. 

More of the mess at the border

So around 500 of the so-called migrants stormed the border and were very upset when our border patrol shot tear gas canisters at them.  They should thank their lucky stars that they didn't have bullets flying at them.  And the women who dragged their kids to the fence trying to enter illegally.  They should be ashamed of themselves.  What mother would put her child in that danger?  And exactly what did they expect if they did manage to get through that razor wire?  Automatic acceptance into the country.  I believe that if they did push through, then they should have to wait in detention until the very last one of those claiming asylum were processed.  The very last and have to sit in detention.  I have no sympathy.  I am out of give a damn for them.  For every dollar they cost us is a dollar we cannot use for our own poor, mentally ill, homeless.  So, no, I have no sympathy.  They all have countries and are just to lazy to make an effort to fix them..  They are claiming asylum because of domestic abuse, gang fear.  What in hell do they think they face here?  The murder rate in their entire country is about the same as for one city in the United States.  They bring their mess with them.  As one counselor told an inmate in TDC.  You can run, you can go elsewhere, but when you get there, there you will be and all your problems will have come with you.  They are looking to take from our own poor, homeless, and forget the mentally ill.  We just ignore them anyway.  These illegals cost us from $6-12billion a year and that is outright cost for the benefits.  That does not even count for the corporate welfare of subsidizing the businesses they work for in the form of no payroll taxes, no paid overtime, and they all use medicaid or just go to the er, get treatment, and walk out.  A citizen cannot do this. 

I was told by a Hispanic man that I know that you can tell the illegals from the citizens when they bust a dog fight.  The citizens will not run because they have nowhere to go.  The illegals run because they can go back to Mexico and be off the hook.  They see our laws as nothing and not applying to them.  They see our laws as there for them to break. And we let them all the while ignoring those kids trapped in the ghettos, those hungry, those facing beating from parents, those in foster homes, those homeless.  We are failing our children and we are willfully doing so.  We are throwing away their futures in favor of foreign nationals that have no right to be here.  Shame on us. 

Mess at the border.

Those trying to force their way into the country have a country and are simply too lazy to work on fixing it.  And their country does not have welfare.  They are trying to come here for the freebies.  They see those freebies as coming from "the government."  They can't wrap their minds around the fact that every freebies comes out of the pockets of the taxpayer.  And they have not bothered to get any kind of education.  But they expect to "work."  No skills, no speaking any English, nothing.  They are bringing nothing.  And they are demanding we let them in.  We have our own poor.  We have kids stuck in ghettos with no way out.  We have kids homeless and some who have a semblance of a home going to bed hungry every night.  We have thousands in the system who do not have a hope in hell of every realizing that so called American dream.  And we have the homeless and the old.  We have homeless vets, combat vets.  We the people sent them into harms way.  We the people owe them big time and we the people are not paying our bill.  So yes I am against this influx of illegals.  They need to go home and fix their own damn country and stop trying to steal us blind.  We have our own to take care of.  And we are doing a  lousy job of that job. 

How our own government is screwing the citizens

This is always a topic that I can't warp my mind around.  Those elected politicians seem to forget who they are representing as soon as they get into office.  And we have very few actual adults in the government in Washington and even less in state government.  Those socialists seem to think that they represent the entire country and they are dead set on pushing through their agenda even though every damn one of them is a first term congressman or woman.  It might work for them in their little district, but the rest of the country does not want, does not endorse socialism.  And they can't seem to get that through their heads.  And they are already acting as if they own congress.  As though by getting elected puts them on top and in control of congress.  They are like the girl at high school who gets elected homecoming queen and feels like she is all that matters and she certainly deserved that honor.  Yep everyone of the newbies are taking that attitude.  Well, we will see how well they settle in.  I am betting that every one of them throw away those ideals when the lobbyists start showing them the money.  They came to congress broke but they will leave rich.  This is one jaded voter.

The new brand of politician

The media is all over their new darling, Ms Ocasio-Cortez.  She is an avowed socialist.  But when ask where the money will come from to support everything she is advocating, she has no answer except to say well you just pay for it.  She is stupid.  Willfully stupid and she is supposed to have a degree in economics.  Boston University should close their doors if this is what they turn out.  But on the other hand, she does come from a socialist society.  She is Puerto Rican.  Puerto Rico has since becoming a territory of the Unites States, been socialist.  They get everything from the mainland and give nothing back.  They pay no federal income tax.  They are refered to as the welfare island and cost the US taxpayer $21 billion a year.  Ms. Cortez comes from this attitude of everything free.  But you will notice that her family came to the mainland to make money. But she brought her welfare attitude with her.  Socialism does not work.  Never has worked and never will work.  It is fine till you run out of other people's money.  Then it collapses.  Just ask a Russian how they like socialism.  And she is out there rabble rouseing for more like her to run for congress and take it away from the democrats.  Can you say Hitler?  Because that is exactly the way he came to power.  I see her as a flash in the pan.  I doubt she will be re-elected especially if Amazon moves into her district.  Those will be educated people, not hispanics who have never learned English and have no intention of doing so and aspire to their menial jobs and nothing more.  That is who her constituancy is. 

State of the border

We have around 10,000 from Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatamala trying to push into our country.  If they can muster that many to walk 2000 miles to get to our border, why can't they march on their own government and force chance in their own country?  And I can answer my own question here.  No welfare.  Those countries offer no welfare programs.  And those illegal foreign nationals coming into our country get benefits that are not in any way available to citizens.  We are forced to put up our hard earned money to pay for those programs that benefit non-citizens while the rich, and I include every member of congress here, do not.  And they give us no say in whether we are ok with this.  And then they wonder why we are so angry and disillusioned.  We do not have a working government.  We have nothing.  And the new tax plan, yeah that is costing the working people and forcing us to pay more taxes. 

I'm thinking that with so many pushing into our country, there must be a lot of land available in those central American countries.  Wonder how they would like it if we showed up  in mass, armed to the teeth and informed them we were taking that land for our own.  I think we should do just that.  We could take over the government and have our own country.  I am really liking that idea and I can just bet I would find a lot of takers and every one would be armed to the teeth.  Why not?  They are trying to take our country.  Why should we not take theirs and make it our own?

More on politics

As the song by Ray Stevens goes, "It's me again Margaret."  I keep trying to get away from politics, but Daddy trained me well.  I used to argue politics with him when I was as young as 10.  And now I have no one to argue politics with.  Most are not interested and those who are really get angry about it.  We cannot agree to disagree anymore.  However, that being said, I have made a few observations over the last few days.  The haters are still out there.  The fringe element is still out there.  And the newbies are acting like they are on a senior trip.  It has the flavor of the senior class of Stupid, USA goes to congress.  And the new darling  of the media, Ms. Ocasio-Cortez is acting like a 14 year old on her own away from Mommy for the first time.  She is treating her election as a publicity and attention grabbing deal.  She has also joined protests against Nancy Pelosi.  For a new congresswoman in her first term, she sure is stupid.  Pelosi will chew her up and spit her out.  It will surprise me is she is not a one hit wonder doing her 2 years and being voted out.  She brings nothing to the table.  Nothing. 

There are several that were voted in with absolutely no experience whatsoever.  And that is dangerous at the county and city level.  Those idiots cannot do much damage in congress because, well, congress does not do anything.  However, at the county level, yeah, they can do a lot of damage.  Houston is an example.  They replaced an experienced country judge that took them through 3 years of flooding culminating with Harvey and kept the death toll at a very minimum.  So  they voted him out and voted in a 27 year old grad student who has never even attended a council meeting in her life.  She has zero experience. If I lived in Houston, I would sell and leave because if they have another Harvey or even if one of the dams breaks, she will air her incompetence for all to drown in.  And those dams are 40 years past their life span.  Houston picked a hellava time to throw out the baby with the bath water.  They were so intent on voting against any republicans, they didn't care if they were voting for a stick as long as it had a D on it. 

And when 2020 comes, I so hope we get some in congress interested in the country and not their own agenda and that we get someone to vote for for President.  I am so tired of seeing spoiled, bratty baby boomers on the ticket.  I want adults that have integrity.  Please.

democrats and republicans

I have been arguing with my son as to why I am so done with the Democrats.  I have a difficult time making him understand why I hold them to a higher standard than the republicans.  I just read an article in the Economist that neatly sums it up.  The Democrats have always painted themselves as the party of the people.  And yet, at every turn, their answer to giving a helping hand is to hand out freebies.  Back in the 60's and 70's after the civil rights act was passed, you would have thought that that party that passed it would have jumped on pushing businesses to hire minorities.  Nope.  What they did was push through a pletoria of freebies.  Medicaid, no cost.  Welfare. No cost.  Food Stamps.  No cost.  And to paint the minorities as victims.  The democrats needed the minorities to be victims because they needed to use them.  They needed to use them as a voting bloc and did so for decades.  They created public housing units that are unfit to live in.  They created generational welfare.  The created a couple of generations of losers that feel that they are owed because they are minorities.  My take will undoubtedly piss off a lot of people, but think of this: How many of those minorities had great potential to have it stymied to benefit politicians?  We have created a sub culture of third word barrios and no effort is being made to help and clean it up.  Now the democrats have moved on to the illegals because they have used up the capitol from he blacks.  There are too many that do not bother to vote, too many that are on the take and will never do anything to better their standards because the democrats have convinced them that they are owed and they are not worthy of leading a productive life. 
And now we have the democrats in charge in the house and set to be just as mean, and petty as the republicans have been since the 1990's when Gingrich screwed the party for his own personal gain.  A man who never held a job in his life and lived off government dole all his life.  This brings me to the republicans.  I never expect anything from the republicans because they have never made a secret of the fact that they are thieves, that they are there to steal the government for business, that they don't give a tinkers damn about anyone not rich.  Never.  So, yes, I do hold the democratic party to a higher standard and they have failed miserably.  And now with this new crop of socialist, we are in real trouble.  The newest representative from New York is treating her win as a senior trip from high school, cannot tell you how our economy works, why we have the mess we do, and wants to give everything free with no idea how to pay for it.  She is reflecting the feelings of her territory. Puerto Rico has for well over 100 years been socialist and living off the taxpayer of the mainland while contributing nothing to the economy.  And that is what she wants for the country. I want young blood in congress, but I would hope for young blood that is informed.  That understands economy and world politics.  She does not and neither do most of her generation.  It is scary time.

Still politics

I keep promising myself that I will do like the rest of my friends and just ignore politics, but that is not what I was taught by my father.  I was taught that if you don't keep an active interest then the special interests will control everything.  Well, I think they already do.  I just read an article about Amazon  building their  new headquarters in Lower Manhattan and Northern Virginia and that Ocasio-Cortez is very upset about it and saying that the people of these districts do not want Amazon there.  Amazon will bring in 25,000 jobs.  Granted that a lot of those jobs will required educated and skilled workers and maybe that is where the rub for Ocasio-Cortez comes from.  Her base is unskilled workers mainly of Puerto Rican descent.  If that base is swollen by educated, skilled voters, she probably won't be re-elected. She has her own little feiftdom there and does not want the balance upset.  And yet she is supposed to be a progressive and a socialist.  Those 25,000 jobs would bolster the mean income of the area greatly.  And the taxes it would bring in would far outweigh the tax breaks it would get.  But somehow she can't see that. 
I am using Ocasio-Cortez as an example of why I am very leary of the new crop of millineal elected politicians.  They have no real clue how government works.  She is supposed to have a degree in economics but everything out of her mouth denies that.  There is no grasp of the economy.  Also true of the 27 year old grad student that won the seat for County Judge in Houston  for Harris county.  She unseated the judge that guided Houston through 3 consecutive years of flooding culminating with Hurricane Harvey.  She has never even attended a Council meeting.  And now Houston and Harris county is in the hands of someone who is only there because she put her name on the ballot as a democrat.  And the democrats were determined to throw out all the republicans they could regardless of competence.  This is dangerous.  And Houston had better hope they don't have another Harvey soon. 

The Kavanaugh mess

I have been asked by many people if I believe the woman accusing Kavanaugh of sexual molestation.  No, not as presented.  She cannot remember the house this took place in,  she cannot remember the day, she cannot remember how old she was.  I know a few women who have had this happen to them.  They remember the place in vivid detail.  They remember the man, they remember how he smelled.  They definitely remember the day and the exact date.  Why?  Because this is the time that all power over their own bodies was taken from them.  They remember because it destroyed who they were.  And 36 years, no.  Do I think it happened?  I don't know.  I can say this: high school girls talk about everything.  This would not have been kept quiet.  Every girl in that high school would have known about it.  Every one of them.  So what I think it is is a political stunt by the democrats.  And that is all it is.  They are willing to destroy two people to get what they want and make no mistake, this woman is just as destroyed as is Kavanaugh.  Neither will recover from this. 

As soon as this metoo movement started, i expected this to happen.  And all this does is denigrate those who have really suffered severe attacks.  It waters down what happened to them.  It makes them less credible.  It puts us back in the 1960's when if a woman was raped, it was her fault.  It was because she smiled at him in a seductive way, or she was wearing seductive clothing, or she had lose morals.  Every woman that was actually raped was put on trial and it was almost like the rapist was the victim.  And we are returning to that.  And by making this political, it is speeding up the return.  Rape is a ghastly crime.  It is about violence. It is about destroying the woman's self esteem.  It is about destroying the woman.  And it is about taking power from the woman.  It makes the woman an object for the man to use as he wishes.  And we are quickly returning to this.  Those politicians that started this were women and should be ashamed of themselves.  They know what will happen but they don't care as long as they get what they want.  They have no empathy nor any soul. 

Politics

I really want to look away, but I can't.  What is taking place in Washington today is mind blowing.  Bob Woodward wrote a book about Trump's White House and someone wrote an anonymous op-ed backing up everything he said in his book.  My take, I think Woodward wrote that op-ed to push the sale of his book.  Woodward has very little credibility.  He was in bed with Bush and backed the invasion of Iraq on the lies of WMD's.  When asked by a reporter what would he say if no WMD's were found.  He stated that that would not happen because the administration had proof they were there.  When none were found, he said well, I guess I got that one wrong.  He also wrote a book trashing Obama over something that was unfounded.  So the man is not relivent and is looking for something to give him credibility and that credibility is not there. 

I'm still trying to figure out why Trump is so hated.  Yeah he is an asshole.  We all know that, but he has not invaded a country on a pack of manufactured lies.  He has not fought that war off the books with no funding and is not leaving it for the next president to figure out how to pay for it.  He has not handed his cronies trillions of dollars with no accounting.  He has not delivered pallets of money to one of our enemies that is building nuclear weapons.  He has not encouraged uprisings in the Middle East and left the rebels hanging.  All he has done is run his mouth.  But the democrats have made it their goal to make him fail because their queen was not given her throne.  And that is what they saw.  And this goes back to 2008.  Hillary and Obama were running pretty close.  The dems wanted to put a black man in office.  So Hillary was promised is she backed off and let Obama win the election, when his terms were us, she would be president.  She was promised the White House by the dems.  And they could not deliver.  And that is what they are angry about.  The repugs hate Trump because he is not an insider.  So he is fighting an uphill battle.  Both parties are out to make him fail.  And since he is the underdog, I will vote for him again in 2020.

Circus

I have been keeping track of the confirmation hearings for our new Supreme Court Justice.  I kinda like Kavanaugh.  He may be a conservative, but he seems to be firmly entrenched in justice and enforcing the Constitution.  For what it is worth, I am all for keeping RoevWade.  It is very needed. 

That being said, I never thought I would see the day when all the democrats can do is trash someone.  They were in charge when the economy went to hell in 2008.  That is what lost them the majority then.  They did nothing.  Not one thing in the time they were in control in the legislature, but as soon as they lost control, the bitching started.  No, I don't like most of the Republicans.  I do not.  The thing is,I expected better from the Democrats, but looking back, they have never really been there for the people.  We passed the Civil Rights Bill in the 1960's.  By the 1970's, the democrats had convinced the blacks that they were victims and were owed and that they all needed to be on welfare.  They have kept them there all these years too.  There is never a push to bring good schools to the black neighborhoods.  There is never a push to bring businesses to the black neighborhoods.  There is never a push to bring jobs to the black neighborhoods.  And forget about the American Indians.  They are invisible.  They don't count and never have.  So yes, I expect better from the Democrats.  But what I see is meanness, petty backbiting, and just plain stupid.  I expect the republicans to be mean, petty and stupid.  They never disappoint.  But the dems sure have. 

Cannot believe what is taking place

I look at what is happening in my country today and it is a repeat of the 1960's-70's.  The rich kids railed against the government and against the troops sent to Vietnam.  They spat on them when they were returning.  They called them baby killers.  This from the cowards that didn't have the guts to step up and do their share.  No, they were busy doing drugs and screwing whatever would hold still for them.  They contributed nothing, nothing.  All this while the poor whites and blacks fought that war.  And the government let them do it and allowed them to steep in their butt hurt, poor me wallow at the same time as they were getting preferential treatment over the poor whites and blacks. 

Fast forward to today.  The democrats are so angry that they did not get what they wanted in 2016 and they will not let it go.  They are dead set on making the government fail never realizing nor caring that if the government fails, so does the country.  They don't care.  Why?  Well they have come up in an era when lying was ok, where creating your own reality was the norm.  Where never accepting responsibility for their actions was the norm.  So that Constitution means nothing to them.  Our place in the world means nothing to them.  The only thing that means anything to them is that they get their way.  Just take a look at what New York is set to put in the Senate.  A barely literate person who has no clue about the world around her.  She can not even string words together to make an articulate sentence.  And she is supposed to hold a degree in Economics and International Politics.  She cannot even articulate why she thinks that the Palestinians are being screwed.  Her one job since college is bartending.  So we are going to have an illiterate bartender in one of the most powerful seats in congress.  And the people of this district are ok with this.  This illustrated the dumbing down of our society.  She represents the young of today.  No knowledge, but will demand the most absurd policies. 

Now let's get to the Republicans.  They are also butt-hurt because one of their own from the political good ole boy network was not chosen by the American voters to serve as our President.  All you have to do is take a look back over the year and the republicans are as bad as the democrats.  Actually, I think they are worse because they should have backed the president.  None of them have.  So on the democrat side. we have the butt hurt young idiots and the illegals idiots whining because we did not give the White House to their chosen candidate and she so deserved it because she worked so hard for it.  And boo hoo how dare the voters not vote for her.  We will show them.  Never mind that we can elect whomever we want. 

Then we have the butt hurt repugs.  They don't like Trump because he is an outsider.  He is not from the swamp and does not fit in their social groups.  So they won't support him.  Disgusting on both sides.  I am a registered independent and will never return to the Democratic party.  When they start touting illiterate fools to run the country, time to run.  And I did.

Crime

They have caught the killer of the young woman in Iowa.  He was in the country illegally, working with stolen identity, spoke no English.  He killed her because she refused his attempt at a pick up.  Aside from the fact that he never should have been there, this was someone who has a problem with women.  This type of man is very dangerous, no matter who he is.  He does not see women as human beings, but as people he can use and subdue. 

Now let's get to the illegal and political aspect of this murder.  He was hired by a local farmer who did not make an attempt to verify if he was legal.  This is what is happening all across our country.  The businessmen want the cheap labor so that they can work them 12 hours a day/7days a week.  So that they can ignore safety laws.  So that they can  avoid paying payroll taxes.  The 12 hours a day is illegal without overtime pay.  The 7 days a week is illegal under our labor laws.  What these businessmen want is slave labor and they come as close as they can get to having that.  And neither party has the balls to stop them.  Neither. Damn. Party.

Double standard

Seems the left only defends illegals from south of the border.  We just deported a 92 year old man who was a guard in a concentration camp in WW2.  I don't agree with this.  A guard has no control, no say in anything.  And if he does not follow orders, he is either court marshaled or killed and in his case, I would imagine he would have been killed.  Then we have ICE arresting an illegal foreign national from Mexico at the request of Mexico because he is wanted for murder in Mexico.  And we are up in arms because he was arrested.  The double standard is obvious.  We only protest the deportation of illegal foreign nationals from south of the border.  Other can be deported with no complaints.  The left never ceases to amaze me.

Trying to ignore the farce that is politics

I have been trying to ignore the farce that is politics in the United States, but that is becoming increasingly difficult.  I think my country has gone crazy.  I know the democrats have.  So here is what I have observed and put together.  Back in 1964, we passed the Civil Rights Bill which on the surface was a really good thing.  On the surface, it would create equality for the black population.  Well, it did not.  For along with the Civil Rights Act, we also passed very generous welfare bills.  And the Democrats encouraged the black population to jump on that bandwagon.  They were downtrodden.  They deserved to be taken care of.  What they did was destroy all self esteem, destroyed the black families, herded them into ghettos.  They created a new plantation and they told the blacks that the democrats were going to take care of them.  In essence, what they did was create a new form of slavery.  And when the blacks were no longer of use to them, they abandoned them.  They jumped on the bandwagon for the illegal foreign national in this country.  They are equating them with legal immigrants, blurring the lines between immigrants and illegal foreign invaders.  And ever democrat has jumped on that bandwagon.  And then we have the Democratic Socialists.  They cannot even tell you what a socialist is.  They can't even articulate what they are representing except that everything has to be free. The new darling of the democrats is supposed to have a degree in economics  and international politics and yet she could not articulate why she felt that the Israelis were keeping the Palestinians down.  She could also not articulate where Israel is compared to the West Bank.  She is a bartender.  And now she is going to sit in our congress.  If she had a brain, she would take it out and play with it.  Of course she would champion socialism as she knows it.  She is Puerto Rican and that island has been on the public dole for over 100 years.  They have socialism and the taxpayers on the mainland pay for it.  That is what she wants to push for the United States with no knowledge that there will be no one to pick up the tab for it.  Nor can she or any of the Democratic socialists articulate how it would be different from the old USSR or Venezuela.  It is sad that the Democratic party has allowed them to claim the party, but they have.  I came on the coattails of WW2.  I remember listening to the news on the Korean War.  I remember the fear that my parents had that 1) My father would be recalled and 2) that we would get in a war with China.  Then we had the Cold War.  I very well remember the Cuban missile crises.  I remember hearing the adults talking and wondering if we would all die.  I remember all this.  Those fools do not even know the history of this nor of socialism. 

And Bernie Sanders is a piece of garbage who has never held a job in his life.  He was a protester during the Vietnam war.  Then he went to congress.  He is one of the 1% he villifies.  His wife bankrupted a college.  He is a piece of trash and would like nothing better than to have a socialist country and for him to be dictator of that country.  If this is the new generation, God help us all.

I have stayed off here.

I have stayed off here because I am disturbed by what is happening in my county now.  I see elected officials inciting violence.  I see the party I  belonged to for 46 years encouraging foreigners to break our laws.  My son asked me why I did not hold the Republicans to the same standards that I hold the Democrats to.  I had to give it some thought and here is what I feel:  I was raised to be a Democrat.  My father and his father were Democrats.  I had always defended all actions by the Democrats.  It never even occured to me to vote Republican.  But I have watched the Democrats first become the party of nothing.  Literally nothing.  Even when they had control of all three branches of government, they did nothing.  I watched as they encouraged blacks to get on welfare, to take the "poor me, it is all the white man's fault" attitude.  I watched as those same blacks were pushed into ghettos with no hope of ever getting out.  I watched as those blacks developed an attitude of " I'm entitled. You owe me." 
I watched as the Democrats abandoned the Unions, the working class, never spoke out nor tried to fix the Child Protective System.   I watched as they sat back and allowed our schools to be destroyed.  I could not believe it. 

Then I watched as Clinton stepped up and ran for President with the air of I am the next president.  She packed her campaign with illegal foreign nationals.  She promised to finish deregulating Wall Street.  She promised open borders.  And she told the working and poor that they were deplorable.  She was promised back in 2008 that if she stepped aside and let the democrats put the first black in office, she would be given the presidency at the end of his 8 years.  So she was ready to accept her corination.  The party routed all donations from city level to federal level to her campaign.  The party trashed Sanders to prevent him from becoming the nominee.  And her campaign paid for the Russian mess.  Even the federal employees jumped on the band wagon to rig the outcome of the election.  Comey and the other FBI agents broke federal law in doing this.  And the democratic party had their superdeligates to make sure she got the nomination just in case the people did not vote for that nomination.  They were set to give  it to her in just the way they gave it to Obama in 2008.  They were installing their dictator and to hell with what the people wanted.  So the silent majority rose up and stopped it.  They sent a message with Trump.  And the democrats ignored it.  They instead turned their entire attention to fighting for the illegal foreign nationals.  Completely.  And the rest of us could just go to hell.  So I cancelled my democrat registration and registered as an independent.  Oh, and why did I not hold the Republicans to the same high standards I held the Democrats to?  Because the Republicans never promised to help anyone but their rich friends.  So both parties jumped on the bandwagon for the rich and the working, minority, and poor were screwed.  Absolutely screwed.

DACA

I think this was the absolute worst thing that Obama did in his whole presidency.  All it did was encourage others to come in hopes they can get in on it.  And the push for amnesty has flooded our borders with illegals.  I do not think that we should award these illegals with anything.  They got a good education at the expense of the taxpayer.  They need to be sent back to their country and let them make that country great.  If we allow them citizenship, we will be overrun with illegals, more so than now.  I have been called heartless for my attitude.  I don't see it that way.  If you look at the plight of our own children in this country and the plight of the working and poor, it makes no sense to allow these people into the country to take benefits away from our own.  We have around 2 million children in the system at any given time.  We have a burn out rate of case workers of about 6 months.  We have homeless children, children who go to bed hungry every night.  And black kids are shoved into the ghettos with no hope of ever getting out and a better life.  Their schools are subpar.  They dodge bullets.  They get beaten up, raped.  Two children were shot while playing in their driveway.  One 9 year old shot and killed while laying on her mother's bed doing homework.  Children in these neighborhoods sleep on the floor to avoid being shot and killed in their sleep.  So it makes sense to me to take care of our own first and invest in our own citizens.  It makes no sense to me to be championing these illegals.  They have countries.  Work to fix your own country.  And those championing them and demanding we give them everything don't give a tinkers damn about our own children.  Really makes me kinda sick.  How can you turn you back on your own children who are depending on you as a society to help them?  How can you throw them away in favor of those who don't even belong here and have no right to be here? 

This crap about separating children from their parents, those parents are criminals.  Using that argument, we would have to release any prisoner in any of our prisons who have children.  We cannot prosecute and imprison any adult that has children because we are taking their children from them.  You can't have it both ways.  And I am sick and tired of hearing how bad the poor illegal foreign national has it.  How those kids were brought here as children.  Well take it up with your parents.  We did not kidnap you and bring you here.  We did not invite your parents to bring you.  You are not our problem.  So, yes, I want to see a thorough housecleaning.  Very thorough.  And I want anyone hiring them to be arrested, fined and prosecuted.  I don't care if it is a housewife hiring a maid, she is breaking the law.  And just like the drugs, if you are caught hiring illegals, everything you own will be confiscated.  We do it for drug pushers, why not for those here stealing from us.  And don't go after a supervisor in a company.  Get the CEO.

The first lady

From what I have read of Mrs. Trump, she is an introvert.  She is always being trashed no matter what she does and she is a private citizen.  She did not run for any office.  She was not voted into any office.  And being an introvert is not easy.  It is stressful to have to deal with a crowd of people under normal circumstances.  Dealing with the world watching and criticizing 24/7 has to be a nightmare for her.  I like her.  I think she is a cool first lady.  I think she is a good mother.  And I think we need to leave the children and wife/husband of the president alone.  She has not inserted herself into politics.  She has made on policy statement at all.  And if you had found out that your husband had had an affair with a hooker when you were pregnant with your child, I wonder how all those criticizing her would have handled it.  If all she did was withdraw from public then I think she should be commended.  If it were me, and I don't care whether my husband was president or not, I would have drugged him, lopped it off, flushed it down the toilet, dragged him out buck naked on the lawn, packed my bags and left.  The woman has to be hurting and should be left alone. 

As to the hooker, the dems can be real proud of that mess.  And the only thing they have done is hurt an innocent woman and young boy. 

The mess of my country.

I am not anti-immigration.  I am anti-illegal foreign national.  We have consulates and or embassies in almost every country in the world.  If you want to come to this country, go to one of those consulates or embassies and apply for a visa.  Don't sneak into the country and then demand your "rights."  The mess we have along our southern border is mind-boggling.  And every one of those illegal foreign nationals that either sneak into the country or show up at a port of entry and demand asylum is a criminal.  They are coming here to earn money, drop a few anchor babies, and live off the taxpayer.  Our public school system is broken.  All the money goes to education illegal foreign nationals in their own language.  Please.  At least learn the language.  And the real kicker is that they are not interested in getting an education.  They attend school for free lunches and breakfasts and free babysitting for their parents while they work off the books. 

Our medical system is really broken.  A citizen cannot afford to have children because we have to pay for those babies.  An illegal foreign national just shows up at the hospital, is admitted, drops the kid and leaves.  Never pays a dime.  And are signed up for tanf, wic, food stamps and quite often section 8 housing before she even leaves the hospital.  A citizen leaves with a huge hospital bill that they have to pay off.  And that illegal foreign national will work off the books, pay no taxes and send a large portion of that money out of the country.  And if they do get a tax id number and pay in taxes, they will get back thousands more than they paid in the form of earned income credit and child tax credits. 

And now we are hearing how cruel we are for not allowing them to all just walk into our country.  For not just ignoring the borders.  There is even a non-profit in Las Angeles that goes to Central America, organizes a caraven of illegals to come through Mexico to the border to come in here and leach off the taxpayer.  They are coached on what to say.  And there is nothing happening to this non-profit nor the organizer.  The organizer is Alex Mensing and his non-profit is called Pueblos Sin Fronteras.  In my opinion, he should be charged with treason because he is helping these illegal foreign nationals to invade our country and attempt to overthrow our government.  The goal is to get so many here, get them all citizenship.  Then they will control the government.  We will cease to exist.  And this fool is doing this at the expense of the citizens, the poor and working class citizens in this country.  75%of all jobs created goes to illegals.  75%.  Does not leave much for the citizens, does it.  Am I angry?  I am beyond angry.  And our own damn politicans are on this bandwagon.  The democratic party, which has touted itself as the party of the working and poor, has done nothing for the working and poor in 50 years.  The blacks have been totally thrown under the bus. In the North, they have been shoved into ghettos, made dependent on the government, and have no hope of escaping.  Their schools are crap.  They face bullets every day.  But no mention is ever made of improving their lives.  The dems are all about the illegal foreign nationals.  This is why we put Trump in office.  We sent a message and neither party got that message.  We will keep sending it. Hopefully, before it is too late, they will get that message.  I am not holding out hope though.
