Politics.

I am trying hard to not get so involved in the politics  of this country.  It is hard.  It does seem that the Republicans have kinda toned it down a bit.  I noticed that both parties are looking to run Iraq war veterans.  I think this is a splendid idea.  Most of what we have in Congress now seems to have just crawled out of the sewer.  My congressman is useless.  He does nothing but sit in Washington and draw his pay.  And of course my Senators.  Ah, yes, my senators.  We have John Cronyn.  His nose is so brown from placating the tea party that he will never get that color off.  Then we have Teddy Cruz.  I thought my congressman was worthless but this guy has him beat by a country mile.  This fool is just that-a fool who thinks only of Ted and to hell with the country.  Texas has never been in as sad a shape as it is now and I don't see it getting any better.  Makes me ashamed of being from Texas.
