What I want

I want elected officials that recognize that they need the voters.  I want elected officials that recognize that without the voters and taxpayers, there would be no country.  That the taxpaying citizens are the backbone of the country and I want them to work for those taxpaying citizens, not the millionaires who do not need any tax breaks,  not the big businesses who pay no taxes.  I know that is a pipe dream, but we have to have our dreams. 

Finally some common sense

I was really impressed with the Alabama voters for rejecting Roy Moore.  He is obviously a reject from the stone age.  And he is for sure a pedophile.  I am impressed, but at the same time, I am surprised.  It looks like the voters turned out to keep him from going to Washington and I am so glad.  I grew up around people like this in the South.  Others would turn a blind eye to what he was doing.  Our parents would tell us outright whom to stay away from.  You couldn't get them convicted, but we sure knew who they were.  And my dad had no use for them.  So, as a daughter of the south, I am proud of Alabama.

Tom Cotton is about the most worthless tool you will find anywhere.  He took a cool million from Israel to try and block the Iran deal.  There is nothing there except selfishness and greed.  Nothing.  And putting him in charge of a whorehouse would cost us money.  Well he is in a whorehouse now.  And he is also a welfare fraud. 

Did you know that every member, all 535, gets $10,000 a year from the taxpayer to pay for their health insurance.  They give themselves this while screwing the taxpayer and making it impossible for them to afford decent health insurance.  $10.000x 535=$5,350,000 just for their health insurance.  And it is great insurance.  There is no $5000 deductible for them.  No way.  Need a procedure?  Not a problem.  The taxpayer will foot the bill.  We pay over $1million for every congressman and senator every year.  No wonder we are dead broke.

Difference between the Democrats and Republicans

Democrats have nothing but contempt for the laws of the country.  And they have nothing but contempt for the working people of this country.  The last election made this so horribly apparent.  The democrats chose the candidate who would be presented to the voters.  The voters were not allowed to chose their own candidate.  After choosing the candidate for the people because, well, we were too stupid to do so, then they marched her out there.  She packed her campaign with illegal foreign nationals, sent them out to knock on doors to solicit donations.  She stood on stage and told us that we were deplorable.  She stood on stage and told us that she was in it for the illegal foreign nationals.  She stood on stage and told us that if we gave her the White House, she would erase the borders.  She told us that the illegal foreign nationals were far superior to the citizens of this country.  She told Wall Street behind closed doors that she would take care of any lingering regulation they had to suffer under.  Kinda like the proverbial marriage bed.  There was no room for the wife here, ie the taxpayers.  So we listened.  We sent a message.  We did not want all those illegal foreign nationals in our country.  We did not appreciate them getting benefits that we as citizens could not get.  We did not appreciate them taking jobs from the citizens.  We wanted our country back.  We sent a message. 

Republicans have for decades sat on their well padded rears and done nothing, nothing for the working people of this country.  They have done nothing but crawl into bed with big business, millionaires and billionaires.  They have sold our government to the highest bidder and taken the money like a well paid hooker.  Republicans are definitely whores and big business and the rich are their pimps.  Lindsey Graham actually stated that if they did not pass this tax bill that the uber rich wanted passed, that there would be no more donations from the uber rich.  So they just stepped up and screwed the working people and the poor.  Did not even try to pretend it was anything but a giveaway to big business and the uber rich.  Wham bam, screw you maam. 

So neither party understands that the country is in a world of hurt nor do they care.  The repugs will give away the country to the highest bidder and they don't care how many illegals, H1-B visa holders and their families are taking jobs that should go to citizens.  Their rich pimps want this cheap labor so the repugs are dead set on giving it to them.  I am curious though.  Where do the uber rich expect to go when this country is no more and we have sunk into the same morass as the Middle East?  There is nowhere to hide and their money cannot protect them if society truly breaks down.  So where do they expect to hide?  That is a curiosity to me.  Europe is in a mess now.  We are getting there.  So where will these uber rich go?  And when the world economy collapses, what good will that worthless money be to them then?  The poor I know who are country people can survive.  The rich cannot. 
Back to the democrats.  They have encouraged these illegal foreign nationals to openly continue to break the laws of the country.  They have pushed for more freebies for them.  The only thing the dems are interested in is getting these illegals citizenship so they can vote democrat.  They also don't care what happens to the citizens.  They don't care that our schools are trashed.  They don't care that our neighborhoods are trashed.  They don't care that our wages have continued to decline in real spending power.  They don't give a damn about anything but their own rich liberal.  Those rich liberals are in it for themselves as are the rich conservatives.  And we the people don't count for anything. 

So when election time rolls around, I so hope that those who have been thrown under the bus remember this and vote them out.  They won't, but I can hope.

Lack of government

In the United States, we do not have a government.  What we do have is a good ole boy network.  And every member of congress belongs to it.  There is not one member of congress that gives a tinkers damn about the voters that they depend on to stay in office.  Not one.  Add to that, every member is rolling in bed with the billionaires of this country and probably a lot from around the world.  Not a damn member of congress has a clue how the majority of the citizens in this country have to live.  I would like to load the lot of them on buses and take them to some of the poorest parts of the country.  I would like to force them to have to have dinner with some of these poor people who are just making it.  Those living in the country are the lucky ones.  They can supplement their food bill by hunting and fishing.  Those living in the cities have nothing and nowhere to go.  They are dependent on food banks, charities like the Salvation Army. And a lot of them are one step away from living on the streets.  I could show these insulated welfare queens and kings in congress what it is like to wonder how you will get your child a new pair of shoes.  Or a coat for the winter. Or find the money for both heating and food.  Many go without food to pay the rent and heating bills.  A lot of people in this country go to bed hungry at nigh.  But these welfare queens and kings do not know what hunger is.  I would like to take away everything they have, plop them down in one of the poorest parts of any county in any state and let them try to stay alive.  Let them try to figure out how to feed themselves.  They could not do it.  And I am ashamed of every one of them.  In 67 years, I have never been this ashamed of my government.  When Nixon was busted, we were so shocked and now I would like to see a Nixon or Johnson back in Washington.  I would like to see a Bill Fullbright in congress.  We have nothing but a den of thieves there now and I do mean thieves.  And I find every one of them disgusting. 

Whores and welfare queens and kings

I have read the tax bill that the repugs are pushing.  It is disgusting.  And the repugs don't even pretend anymore to be working for the voters.  Linsey Graham actually stated that the repugs were told that if they did not pass the tax bill that the billionaire donors wanted, then there would be no more donations.  The repugs had a chance to take the high road and get big money out of our politics but instead they chose to give in to those billionaires.  They chose their pimps over the voters.  We have  535 whores in congress and they are controlled by their pimps, the billionaire class.  To top that off, they are also welfare queens and kings.  They force the taxpayer to pay their salary that they do not earn, to pay for their very costly health insurance, to pay for their free cars, free barber and beauty salons, their very own cafeteria, their free postage.  And they do nothing, nothing in return for these welfare payments.  We have no government.  We are the serfs for the whores and billionaires. 

I emailed my congressman and both senators.  I emailed Paul Ryan.  I emailed the White House, but I feel that I am really in the minority here.  No one really cares enough to even bother to email them.  I am ashamed of my government but I am more ashamed of my fellow citizens.  The majority do not even bother to vote.  There is not one reason that a congressman nor a senator should come out of that job with anything but Social Security.  Nothing.  And there is no reason that they should come out of that job millionaires.  It is nothing more than racketeering.  Nothing. 

My take on gun control

I will try and explain my take on gun control.  I will agree there is no reason for anyone outside the military to have semi-automatic assault rifles.  That being said, I am not for outright banning them.  I do know hunters in Texas that use them in trying to thin out the wild hog population.  You have to hunt them at night and when you come upon a group of them, as soon as you fire into them, they scatter.  So with a conventional weapon, you might get one.  With an AR-15, it is possible to take down several.  But I am still not comfortable with the average citizen owning these guns.  Those who have owned guns all their lives are the ones you never know are armed.  They never talk about their guns.  They never display them.  They just quietly go about their business.  It is the braggarts that cause the trouble.  All that being said, I do believe we need more stringent vetting processes  and law enforcement must share data.  If the Air Force had entered Kelly's information into the FBI database, he could never have bought those guns he used in the church shootings in Texas.  It used to be that fools like this were afraid to do anything because they knew the locals would kill them.  Well with the advent of the internet and instant communication and sensationalizing mass shootings, they want their 15 minutes of fame.  They see themselves going out in a blaze of glory.  And all they are are small minded, mean, bullies.  Cowards.  Notice they never pick a place that they know will have people to meet them gun for gun.  They never attack a police station, a military base, no place that they may meet resistance.  That makes them cowards.  Am I for arming those in the congregations?  Yes.  Absolutely.  What stopped this killer?  A local with a gun.  Had that man not stopped him, there is a good possibility that he would have continued his killing spree and done a lot more damage.  In rural Texas, some areas are miles from law enforcement.  One school district armed many of it's administrators and teachers because the nearest law enforcement was 160 miles away.  So if you live in a densely populated area, you may have trouble understanding this.  So there is a reason for citizens to be armed.  And I for one will be.

My observations

There are so many things rolling around in my head right now.  I have never seen such a mess.  I think we were better off before the internet and all the instant communication.  There was a time in the not to distant past when people had manners and consideration for others.  Not now.  I was waiting in line at my grandson's school last week.  The woman in front of me got out of her expensive car, locked it and went inside to get her kids.  She came back out, put them in her car, walked to my car behind hers and informed me she would need to back out.  My reply was that I didn't think it was possible because there were cars behind me.  Her reply,"Well I'll tell them to move."  I thought wow  that is arrogance.  She walked back to the two cars behind me and they did back up.  I was sitting there seething while she was making her demands.  She walked back past my car and I said,"This was totally inconsiderate of you."  Her reply was,"You just need to shut your mouth." My reply was "Ok" and I rolled my window up and returned to reading my book.  With that arrogance there was no way I would back up so she could get out when she should have not even parked in that line anyway.  She never asked if I minded moving.  She never apologized for causing an inconvenience.  I saw no reason to reward bad behavior.  I do not regret it either. 

I don't like the mess my country is in and I don't like the meanness of the political parties.  I don't like the lies being told and I don't like trying to get news and only finding biased articles pushing one agenda or another.  On the Democrats side, the media is shoving the illegal foreign nationals down our throats.  It has gotten scary.  Very scary. 

State of the country

I didn't like George Bush when he was elected president.  I didn't like Obama.  I voted for him the first time because McCain trotted out Sarah Palin.  The woman scared the beJesus out of me.  I voted for Obama the second time because the republicans trotted out Romney.  I did not like Obama.  He was a community organizer and that was and is all he was.  Community organizer meant that he was good at causing trouble.  Stirring the pot.  Slanting polls to show what he wanted them to show.  And he was secretive.  If the taxpayer is paying your salary, you don't have the right to shut them out.  But he did.  And he stirred the race pot.  He encouraged the foreign nationals here illegally to continue breaking our laws. 
My point here is that even though I did not like either Obama or Bush, I did not call them names.  And the were not nor did they take office under siege.  The way our president is being treated is disgusting.  The republicans are sitting back and offering no defense because he was not one of their good ole boys from their inner circle.  The democrats are acting like the fools they are.  They are spreading lie after lie.  I was a life long democrat.  I will never vote democrat again as long as I live.  I am ashamed and disgusted with both parties, but more so with the democrats.  I never thought I would see a part trash our elected president to the point of almost calling for his murder.  And I never thought I would see a party deliberately stand up and not only encourage foreign nations to break our laws but to aid them in doing so.  We are in a world of trouble and both parties are to blame.  The sooner my generation is out of government, the better off we will be.  The 60's me generation is a disaster.  The have no respect for the law of the land nor do they have any respect for the country itself. 

Damn Democrats, Damn Republicans

The Democratic party is no longer the party of the working people.  It is now the party of Mexico.  It is the party of foreign nationals.  It is not even recognizable as an American political party.  But every damn one of their politicians suck the taxpayer dry and expect us to just ante up more money.  Seems to me it is time for every democrat and every republican politician to just pack it in and move south of the border.  They seem to like Mexico so much, time they represented them in their own country.  This taxpayer and ex-democrat is fed up.  I want my country back and I want a congress that works for the taxpayers, not the invaders.  But we won't get that.  And when they have completely destroyed the country, they will blame it on someone, anyone else. 

The stupidity of congress

So the ACA was pushed through and left to rot.  Along comes Trump and promises to repeal and replace with something better.  Well all we have gotten is a bigger mess.  If you don't have insurance, then you have to pay a penalty.  However, the insurance companies are pulling out of offering private health insurance so the average taxpayer is caught between a rock and a hard place as usual.  And not one politician gives a tinkers damn.  Congress gets a $10,000 allotment to pay for their health insurance.  So we the taxpayer are stuck with a bill for $5,350,000 for their health insurance while we have none.  And neither party is doing anything to fix this mess.  Neither.Damn.Party.  I spent 2 hours last night trying to find health insurance for my daughter who is an independent contractor.  Two hours.  What I finally found out is that all the major companies are pulling out of Georgia.  BC/BS is pulling out of 74 counties. So is Cigna, United Health Care, Kiser Permente, Humana.  All of them.  So people are left with no health care and have to pay a penalty for having none.  Time for single payer.  If those 535 welfare kings and queens can get $4.1million in salary and freebies from the taxpayer, then that same taxpayer should be able to give himself health insurance equal in quality and cost to what the welfare set in Washington gets.  This is one pissed off taxpayer. 

Here we are again

Here we are again with the mass shootings.  Yes it happened.  It was only a matter of time until someone did this.  And if he had not had the guns, he would have used something else.  Why did he do it? Because he could.  Simple as that.  Because he could.  I'm sure he had a reason, but it was a bullshit reason.  We have so many who are, for want of a better word, butt hurt here in this country.  They are angry for many reasons but the main reason is because they have never had a tough time.  They have had it easy.  And something does not go their way so they are going to make people pay.  This was a fool from my generation.  And the majority of those from my generation are spoiled and unable to take responsibility for their own actions and cannot admit that they are ultimately responsible for their own stupidity.  Nothing is worth taking a life.  Nothing.  As to gun control, we do need to stop civilians from acquiring military guns, not because they are so much more dangerous, but because the fools who are acquiring them are too irresponsible to even own a water gun let alone one with real bullets.  And the media has fanned these flames.  They have fanned them with a jet fan since the beginning of the election year in 2016.  And they have kept it up.  All you have to do is look at all the negative news about what the President has not done in Pureto Rico.  According to the leftist news media, we have sent no help to the island.  The news media and the democrats have made it acceptable to break the law if you don't happen to agree with it and now we have a real mess on our hands.  Unless and until the politicians condemn this violence it will not stop.  And all the dems can do is jump on the bandwagon of gun control.  Ban all guns when they know that will never happen.  But there is on condemnation of those committing any of the crimes.  And there is noticeably no push for a comprehensive mental health bill and full funding for it.  Not even a peep from the dems about it.  I can't wrap my mind around a party that encourages lawlessness.  I just can't do that.

I simply cannot wrap my head around the brazen demands of foreigners in this country.  I saw an interview with an illegal that actually stated that our elected representative had to represent the illegals as well as citizens.  That those politicians have a duty to grant citizenship to every illegal in this country.  It has come to this.  The Democratic party has committed the crime of aiding and abetting criminal activity and encouraging criminal activity.  And yet, no one has held anyone accountable.  They just keep doing it.  They won't stop until they have completely given away our country.  They are pushing for not only those here now, but any who want to come in illegally to be given legal status.  The want to create a never-ending influx of illegals for the taxpayer to take care of.  It has to stop.  It is not sustainable.  And they are doing this on the backs of our own children whom they are throwing under the bus.  Our schools are cesspools.  Our welfare system has been broken for years and encourages generational welfare.  Our wages have not risen in decades.  And our medical system is a nightmare.  And yet, not one democrat is interested in fixing our country.  We expect it from the Republicans, but we always had hope in the Democrats.  And now they are worse than the Republicans.  We have a government of privilege.  There is not one politician in Washington who is in touch with the common, working people and their problems.

What they do not realize is that when the working class is gone, there will be no one to fuel their programs they are so proud of.  If they think these illegals will take up the slack, they only have to look at what is happening now.  Take a good hard look at California.  Parts of it are a cesspool.  Parts of it are little Mexico with all the trash that comes with it.  Not seeing much hope for us as a nation.

And while we are at it

If the government will not enforce our present immigration laws and arrest, fine, and jail those hiring them, then I have a solution.  For every citizen or corporation hiring illegals, a tax.  We can call it an immigration tax since both parties insist on refering to these illegals as "immigrants".  Yes, and immigration tax.  Any business or individual can hire as many as they want, but they will have to pay a 50% tax on earning to offset the cost to the taxpayer.  And anyone caught not paying this tax, be arrested and fined all the way back to 1986.  For instance, if a business has 10 illegals on the payroll and has not declared any of them and this business makes,oh, say $1million a year.  Since the last amnesty was 31 years ago, said business would be fined say $5000 per year for every illegal on the books when caught.  So if that business has 10 illegals on the payroll in 2017, then he has been using illegals for 31 years.  So 10x$5000x31 years. That business would have to pay a fine of @2million dollars.  This seems fair to me.  They can hire their illegals at cheap wages but it will cost them.

I just gave you my take on why the Democrats lost.  The Republicans did not with either.  Trump may be a Republican in name, but he is anything but.  He is a spoiled brat, rich, and thinks the world revolves around him.  We were offered:
Perry- a complete idiot who does not have one iota of conscience and will do
             anything to make a buck.
Rubio- one of the Cuban wonders.  Rubio cannot open his mouth without lying.  He
              change his agenda to whatever will get him a vote.  And he has ties to the
              Cartel.
Jeb Bush- Rubio with a white name.  And as useless as his brother.
Cruz-    A cubano with a God complex.  His father is a lier and a communist.  He
              cloaks his communism in theology.  He believes that everything should belong
               to the church and the head of the church controlling everything.  And Cruz
              was raised to believe that it was his right to preside over all this.  Cruz may
               have a high IQ, but he has no character nor any moral ground at all.  He is
               an empty vessel.
Graham-I could have gotten on board with Graham except for his stance on illegal
                aliens.
Romney- in it for his rich friends.  He is the republican version of Clinton.

And the republicans are in the illegal trade for the cheap labor.  So both parties are guilty of throwing the working citizens under the bus for profit and votes.  There is not a candidate on either side that is worth the spit from a chew of tobacco.  There has not been for years and it is my generation and the sooner my generation is gone, the better off the country will be.  They were the Daddy's money of the Vietnam war era.  They hid at home, dodged the draft, demanded defermints.  They stayed at home, smoked dope, and screwed and demanded that the government cater to them.  They stayed and let the poor whites and blacks go and many died in their place.  They try to gloss that over now.  It is not possible.  Romney took 5 deferments.  Cheney took 5 deferments.  Bush hid in the champaign corps in Texas.  Sanders took those deferments.  We did not vote for Trump.  We voted against the establishment in DC and hoped desperately that he would fix our county.  Jury is still out.  So there you have it.  We want our country fixed.  We want our government to focus on the working citizens.  We want our schools fixed.  We want all the illegals gone.  All of them.  Every.Damn.One. Of. Them. 

Democrats loss was a loss for republicans as well

I just read an article about why the Democrats lost to Trump in the 2016 election.  They just cannot wrap their minds around why they lost.  I have been a lifelong democrat.  My father and his father were democrats.  The first time I voted for a republican for president was in 2016.  That was only the second republican I had voted for in 46 years.  I did not vote for Trump. I voted against both the republican and democratic establishments.  Here are my reasons and the reasons I will always be a registered independent for the rest of my life. 

A little history leading up to this decision is in order.  I have lived in Texas for over 40 years.  I have lived in South Texas and now in Central Texas.  I watched our schools go from educating the children to teaching for the test, to teaching for the illegals.  I have watched as more and more of our school budget gets spent on ESL classes so that we can teach those Hispanic students, most illegal, in their own language.  The outcome is that they do not learn anything and they most definitely do not learn English.  They are not interested in school.  The teaching-for-the-test began in the 1980's.  By this time, I had three young children in school.  My first child was put in the track system whereby children were taught on their ability to learn.  He was never bored in these classes.  Well, after his 4th grade year, we stopped that because it was making those who were not in the top classes feel inferior.  Then we went to ESl in all our schools.  Even less teaching.  Now we have kids graduate that cannot read, cannot add, cannot communicate at all.  But they have a diploma.

I remember the amnesty back in 1986.  The ink was not even dry before they were streaming across the border because if we had done it once we would do it again.  And of those 12 million offered citizenship, only about a third took it.  Most were here for what they could get until retirement and then they were going to go back "home."  All they wanted was an open border and security to do what they wanted while here.  Then we were graced with those waving the Mexican flag, flying it above our flag.  And we were blessed with them outright telling us that we would be in the majority within 20 years because the illegals were breeding more kids than the citizens and those kids would take over.  They would then change the immigration laws to suit themselves and their families.  Then we had Obama try and make them legal without any law enabling him to do so.  Now they are protesting in the streets demanding their "rights." 

Clinton packed her campaign with these so called Dreamers.  She sent these illegals door-to-door canvasing neighborhoods.  She promised them all citizenship.  She promised their extended families citizenship.  She stood on a stage and called the working class, 46%, deplorable because we would not support this crap.  And her agenda was for the uber rich, extreme left.  There was no middle ground and the rest of the country did not matter.  And she was surprised that she lost.  She should be surprised that she did as good as she did, but then every recent "citizen" voted for her.  So, no, the Democrats will not win back those they lost.  We are not that stupid.  They will always be trying to erase our borders and thereby erasing us.

I am reading where we are very hated in the world right now and it is because we are enforcing our immigration laws.  Mexico hates us.  Well, if they would take care of their own and not dump their overpopulation on us, maybe we could take care of our own.  If you want us to be a good neighbor, you have to be one as well.  And one neighbor sneaking into your house, stealing you blind  and squatting and demanding you support them because you have worked and built a better house, is all wrong.  Mexico is a very rich country as far as resources go.  It is not our problem if they refuse to push population control and to have social services to take care of their own.  That is on them.

Now Canada hates us because of our clampdown on illegal are sending them north.  Well, Canada has long touted it's tolerance for illegals.  Now they will pay the price just as we have been doing for 50 years. 

Bottom line, the world has an overpopulation of humans.  Until that population is brought under control, we will continue to see the mess we have today.  And make no mistake, mother nature will take care of that overpopulation.  In one way or another, it will happen and it will be brutal.  Had we controlled our own populations, we would not be in this mess now.  Our planet is in a world of hurt and we humans have caused all of it.  We will pay the price as well.  I am sorry for all the animals that will be caught in this realignment of nature, but they will survive.  Mankind may not nor does it deserve to survive.  My opinion.

Our disgusting government

Our government set up the H1-B program and every company in this country abuses it.  I just did a search of Walgreens, Krogers, Wal Mart and HEB.  Every damn one of them uses H1-B and there is no reason for it except to save the companies money and to keep from hiring citizens.  This citizen is fed up with it.  I am tired of having foreigners who cannot even speak English trotted out to "help" me.  Yesterday I went to my doctor.  Would you mind if a resident sat in on your exam?  Against my better judgement, I agreed.  She was an Indian.  We have almost no citizen doctors because the places in medical school are filled with Indian and others from all over the world.  Our own cannot get into medical school but every damn foreigner that want to can and then they stay.  They aren't content with stealing from our kids and keeping them out of medical and pharmaceutical schools, they then stay here and take jobs that should go to citizens.  This citizen is fed up.  I do know several young people who cannot get into medical school.  All have high GPA's, but that did not help.  They were turned down.  And every damn Indian that wants in gets in and we pay for their education.  They also hold 61% of all graduate fellowships.  And now you know why your kid cannot get into school.  Thank you Clinton, Bush, Obama and now Trump.  Not a damn politician has the balls to fix our country.  But that welfare pit in Washington DC is definitely working for every damn business and every foreigner that wants to slink into our country.  We do have welfare queens and kings and every one of them is in the legislature in Washington.  I hate what our government has become.  Best thing for your kid to do is leave the country, give up his/her citizenship and apply for refugee status or foreign admission to one of our colleges.  Many of those private collages grant free education to foreigner.  Feel special yet.

Nothing new

Well, we have all the same problems we have had over the past 50 years.  We are still overrun with illegals.  We still don't have decent healthcare for the ones who need it the most.  And every liberal in this country is bitchin about the deportations of what few illegals we do manage to get out of our country.  And not a damn one of those liberals would allow any of these illegals into their homes unless it was as domestic help at slavery wages.  Palosi and Feinstein want to grant citizenship to all the illegal farm workers because then the farmers would have help.  They are so stupid that they don't realize that as soon as these illegals become citizens, the farmers will fire them and hire new illegals.  It is time to stop trying to kill the snake by cutting off it's tail  Time to cut off the head.  Time to hold every business and individual that hires an illegal accountable by enforcing our immigration laws.  It is a felony offense to hire illegals.  So anyone hiring them needs to be arrested, prosecuted, sentenced to jail and slapped with a huge fine.  And that fine would be $10,000 for every illegal on the payroll.  Companies hiring them, be subject to being nationalized and sold.  And no more benefits at the cost to the taxpayer. 
Another thing, has anyone besides me noticed that those advocating for them are either illegal themselves or recent immigrants or anchor brats.  Thank you for letting me into your county, now I will screw you.  And those chruch groups, they use this platform to raise money.  They also use the resettlement of so called refugees as a way to get government funding.  They are paid by our own government to "re-settle" these people. 
And now we have  a Miss USA saying on public television that healthcare is a privilege.  Miss McCollough is on the public dole.  She works for the US government and she is paid a salary by the taxpayer and her healthcare is paid for by the same people she is holding herself high above.  She is another fool.  Take away her healthcare and force her to buy her own.  Let's see how she likes it then.  I don't think the taxpayer should be on the hook for her healthcare.  She has shown she does not appreciate what she gets from the taxpayer.  Public dole. And this taxpayer is sick of it. 

Problems in my country

If you ever notice, all the protests and screaming over the illegals is being done by the illegals, the new citizens, and the anchor babies.  Every one who has been given citizenship in our country is out to change our Constitution.  There is no value in our citizenship anymore.  Those coming in are not interested in becoming American citizens and assimilating into our melting pot.  They are here to bring their laws and their ways with them and they are out to force us to accept that  and change to suit them.  I read where on illegal was deported.  He had been here for 20 years, married, had 4 children, and started his own business without even being able to get a drivers license.  He broke our laws and he was deported.  He blames the US because we took everything from him.  He accepted no responsibility for sneaking into our country, breaking our laws.  None.  It is all the fault of the US government.  Pardon me while I vomit.  As I said, they come in and expect to be taken care of: to be granted all the rights of a citizen.  They don't ask permission to come in.  They just barge in and demand.  My give a damn is damned gone. My country, my rules.

Still on legal and illegal immigration

I just read an article that basically stated that assimilation into the US is complex.  No, it is not.  If you immigrate to this country legally, then it is your responsibility to learn the culture, language, and be a productive member of our society.  That is the responsibility you take on when you ask permission to move into our country and gain citizenship.  That citizenship is sacred. And it should be.  So if you really don't want to be a part of the American fabric, you have no business coming here to begin with. And that is all we ask of our legal immigrants.  That they embrace our country and fully become a part of it.  Illegal aliens are not immigrants and are another matter all together.  They show nothing but disrespect for our laws by barging into our country without permission.  And they barge in making demands.  We are a nation of laws and it is imperative to our way of life that we respect and enforce all our laws. Failure to do so negates who we are as a sovereign country.  If we fail to enforce our laws and let ourselves be taken advantage of and allow our laws to be ignored, we are no longer a country, but a collection of people with no cohesion.

What California is doing is very wrong.  They are going against their country's laws and they are doing it for all the wrong reasons.  Whether they like it or not, they are a part of the United States and they seem to like all the advantages that that relationship accords them.  Protection from invasion. Disaster relief when natural disaster strikes, federal funding.  But they want that and want to write the conditions on which they receive these benefits.  It does not work that way.  Trump is within his right to withhold federal funds if they thumb their noses at the federal laws.  Remember 1862?  That did not end well for either parties.  And it has forever split the country.  And California would be the first state to trash the South if we re-created that Civil War.  The politicians in California want it both ways.  They want to be a sovereign nation but they also want all the benefits of statehood.  There will be a reckoning and it won't be pretty.  And Eric Holder is in the middle of this mess.  That man should be in federal prison for smuggling, gun running, and murder.  And so should Obama because he micromanaged everything in his administration so of course he knew and approved of this gun running in a foreign country.  A sovereign country.  And that country, Mexico, should be demanding that Holder be extradited to Mexico for prosecution for gun running and murder.  We are going to need all the help we can get.  We are in a world of trouble.

Our responsibilities as citizens

We, as citizens, have allowed Bush, Obama, and now Trump to send our young men and women into harm's way.  They went willingly and were proud to serve.  Now for 14 years they have been coming home broken and they join the ranks of the Vietnam vets that are broken.  And we do not take care of these broken men and women.  They are our responsibility.  We sent them.  We were the ones who broke them.  We should be ashamed of not taking care of them.  I have even been told no we don't owe them anything.  They volunteered.  That kind of thinking is so wrong.  Yes, they did volunteer.  We asked and they said yes.  So yes we are responsible for them for the rest of their lives and it makes me ashamed of my country for not doing it's job when they did theirs so well.  PTSD is a very real illness.  It is so real, that those with that actually relive the battles in their own mind over and over again.  They can't get away from those battles.  I grew up with a WW2 vet for a father.  I lived the life of a child of a parent with PTSD.  My dad drank.  My friend's father would sleep very little and would leave in the middle of the night and just drive all night.  Another friend's father was a drunk all his life.  My dad finally shook the drinking when I was around 10.  My husband was a combat vet as well and yes he had PTSD.  He never stopped fighting.  He slept with a gun under his pillow.  He was compulsive about locking the doors and making sure the curtains were tightly closed at night.  And he kept a shotgun near.  And both men suffered Malaria.  I have watched both when the fever came back on them.  They would be delerious, they would shake so bad, their teeth would chatter.  And there was nothing being done for them.  Dad carried quinine pills until they started regulating them, then the doctors wouldn't give them to him.  So I can tell you that PTSD is a very real illness and for this country to ignore our vets and do nothing is shameful.

Trump is truly the face of betrayal

We were given Clinton and Trump to vote for.  Clinton forthrightly told us she was in it for the illegals and would make sure they gained citizenship and we would have open borders.  She further told her cult that any who voted for Trump was deplorable.  So those who did not buy into her open borders, screw the taxpayer were deplorable.  Not once did she offer anything up for the working people.  Not once did she offer up any relief from the stagnant wages, lack of good jobs, help for our own for college.  Nothing. Nada.  But what she did do was offer glowing support for any illegals that had managed to beat the system.  Any who managed to steal their way into college on the taxpayer dime was hailed as heroic.  Those stealing identities were just trying for a better life.  And the taxpayer bearing the brunt of this?  Nothing.  Wall Street would have fared very well under Clinton as she told us because they needed less regulation.
Then we had Trump.  I will deport all the illegals.  I will stop the H1-B visa and force companies to hire Americans.  I will give universal health care to all.  I will take care of the working people who deserve to have the benefits and not the illegals.  Well we are less than three months into the new presidency and already Trump has reniged on deporting all the illegals, doing away with the H1-B visas, giving us decent health care, destroying our schools.  In short, his budget is a huge,. early Christmas present to big business.  And we are screwed again.  We have not had a decent president since Johnson.  I am sorry to say that this is my generation, the Vietnam generation,  that is causing so much pain.  Those in Washington are the selfish, self centered privileged brats from my generation that sat on their rich rears and let the poor whites and blacks be sent over to Nam in their place.  Yes, it is time to do something about Washington and I think what we need to do is not drain it,, but import a whole bunch of gators from Florida and Louisiana, dump them in Washington and close all exits.  Let's see the assholes try to wiggle out of that one.  We have to have one politician in this whole country that sees what is happening to our country and has a pair of balls that makes him or her man or woman enough to step up and fix the damn problem.  I read yesterday about the illegals in Charlotte, North Carolina demanding taxpayers pay for their immigration lawyers and screaming at the city officials and threatening them.  This crazy has to stop.  If it doesn't, there will be blood shed.  And Trump does not have the balls to do the right thing about all this nor does he have the balls to do the right thing towards the working and poor.  I hope he loses every damn dime and had to depend on the taxpayer.  And I further hope that congress has the balls to lower his salary and retirement.  I am so pissed off right now.  And now Clinton tries to take the high road and say"I told you so."  Seems to me this is one crook crowing about another crook.  Disgusting, Very disgusting.

State of my country

If my father were alive today, he would be ashamed of what this country has become and I mention him because he would have had a big right to criticize.  He was a WW2 veteran who was in Underwater Demolitions in the South Pacific. So, yeah, he would have had a right to criticize because he fought for those rights and was slated to die for those rights if we had invaded Japan.  He was to be on the fist wave in the invasion.  That is the background and now I will voice my criticism based on his teachings to me.
1) we may not like who the voters voted into the White House, but it is our responsibility to support that person.  Reason being is that if he fails we all fail.  And we have to present a united front to the world.
2) Our citizenship is our second most cherished and important right.  The first being the right to vote.  3) We should be very selective to whom we grant that citizenship.

What I have watched happen over the last 50 years is a contempt that has grown for our own government.  A contempt that was caused by our won government.  Let's look back to the Vietnam era.  The government granted deferments to those with money or those who were lucky enough to get enrolled in college before they were drafted right out of high school.  And those that were granted those deferments used their time to party while those less lucky were being killed every day. Every.Damn.Day.  And those who were being killed were being treated like less than the garbage we throw away even by our own congress.  Those anti-war marches, well they took place because the government stopped giving deferments and those little darlings were going to be drafted.  They were a bunch of cowards and totally without any redeeming features.  Take a look at Bush and Cheney.  Neither had the guts to serve in Vietnam, but neither had any problem with sending our sons and daughters into the mess in the Middle East because Cheney wanted to make money and Bush fancied himself a war president.  As with Vietnam, Daddy's money stayed behind.  And Daddy's money had no qualms about the slaughter of our own.  And now Daddy's money is what we have in congress lining their pocket with ill gotten gains and outright theft.

Moving on to today, what we have in congress today were the draft dodgers then.  They have no scruples.  They are open to the highest bidder.  They have allowed dark money to control our politics.  They can stop it at any time, but they don't want to.  They are in it for themselvves and not the country.  hence we are overrun with illegal aliens, refugees, and naturalized citizens who want only what they can get from us.  And they all have someplace to run to when our country hits the skids.  Illegals have no problem/. They just scoot back to their country.  Refugees the same.  They still have citizenship in their own countries and so do the naturalized citizens.  Where can Americans go?  Nowhere.  We will be left to clean up the mess as usual.  And those backing this influx of illegals and refugees and others, well when SHTF and they are broke, you will hear whining and crying the likes of which will make the present day mess seem like a cakewalk.  And where will the money that has cause all this be?  Safely tucked away somewhere and snickering at the chaos they have cause.  Those billionaires do not give a tinkers damn about the country.  They are in it for themselves and they are busy undermining our government and congress just trots right along like a little lap dog.

Illegal aliens and refugees

I am fully aware that there are a lot of people living in dire circumstances around the world.  But this is not a new development.  This has been the state of the world as long as humans have been on this planet.  And there will always be poverty, famine, bullies, murderers.  And we cannot stop it.  And I fail to see where it is the responsibility of the developed world to take care of all of this.  We cannot fix the countries that prepetuate this.  We cannot stop these very poor people from reproducing even though they cannot afford to feed those they birth.  We cannot be the safety valve for the overpopulation of the rest of the world.  To try and attempt to do that would mean the destruction of our own country.  We are already seeing this trying to happen.  They manage to get refugee status, come here and immediately begin trying to bring their extended families.  The illegals just cross the border, fly in on a visitors visa or student visa and stay.  And then demand that they be given a special status to allow them indefinite right to be in our country and take from the taxpayer.  There is no reason for business to hire and illegal except to avoid paying payroll taxes and a living wage and by hiring them they are allowing the wages for the citizens to be forced down below living wage.  And those illegals get many more benefits than those citizens who work two and three jobs to just make ends meet.  That citizen, if working, cannot get welfare, usually not food stamps, no housing vouchers, no free medical.  And their kids have to attend schools with the illegals' kids who speak no
English.  The resources are put toward these non-English speaking foreigners and it is not just those speaking Spanish.  We are expected to accomidate anyone in their own language.  This is so wrong.  If they come here even as a refugee, they should at least make an effort to learn the language.  But the kicker is that they don't want to be here except for what they can get.  They are not here to become citizens.  They don't like us.  And they have contempt for us because we try to help them.  The answer is population control.  If humans aren't breeding like rats, then there will not be the overcrowding hence no reason for starvation, famine, and constant fighting.  And please, any country that has been in a civil war for decades.  What exactly is expected of the rest of the world when these citizens won't clean up their own mess?  Can you see the United States being invaded and the citizens sitting back and cowering from them?  Oh, hell no!  We would all be hauling out our guns and ammo and kicking ass.  We might die in the process but we would do it.  Well, at least in the South, Midwest and most of the West.  The North East is a world of it's own and mostly made up of recent refugees, illegals and legal immigrant.  They are not a part of the country and don't see themselves as a  part of the county.

State of our country

As I watch my country sink further and further into the abyss, it really saddens me.  The latest debacle-striking for immigrants.  It was not about immigrants because to use the word immigrant signifies that those people are here at our invitation.  What this was was an attempt by the so called activists who are out to blur the lines between illegal aliens.  And once they have blurred those lines then they erase them permanently and once erased then they will have everyone fighting for the rights of the illegals.  Why?  Because the legal immigrants do not need anyone to fight for their rights because when they get that green card, they have rights.  When they get that citizenship, they have all the rights accorded to every American citizen.  Illegal aliens do not have this.  And the move is to eliminate any laws preventing illegal aliens from entering our country, from getting all the benefits of the citizen.  And who are these so-called activists?  Well, follow the money.  On the Democrat side, one major player is George Soros.  We gave him citizenship in our country.  He has rewarded us by doing his best with his money to destroy our country.  Not only our country, but he has used his money to meddle in most if not all of the democratic countries in the world.  He should be arrested, tried for and convicted of trying to overthrow not only our own government but the governments of the rest of the democratic world.  And all the while Soros is bankrolling all of these protests world wide, he is busy making money from them.  Soros is lower than Hitler.
Then we move to the Right.  Those bankrolling the rabid right are of course, Charles and David Koch and Rupert Murdoch.  Names sound familiar?  They should.  The Koch brothers have been behind every dirty business deal in this country from faulty pipelines to the Keystone pipeline which benefits no one but the brothers.  Rupert Murdoch.  Well he owns the Wall Street Journal, the New York Post,20th century Fox.  The closest we come to a free and unbiased press in this country is the Associated Press.  Soros or Murdoch have their hands in every other news outlet.

Now back to my original statement.  If Soros can close the line between illegal and legal immigrant, then he can get in anyone he wants and he wants to destroy our country and he is doing it for power and money.  He had his hand in the Arab Sprint.  As I said, he is worse than Hitler.  At least with Hitler, you knew who the enemy was.  With Soros and Murdoch, they hide and pay others to do their dirty work for them.  And those two can't die quick enough for me.  If we had a congress with a pair, we would have no dark money in politics.  Everything would have to be transparent.  Every protest group, every non-profit, every group trying to meddle in politics would have to provide written information as to who was involved in their operation and how that person was involved and how much money they were putting up.  But we first need a congress that has the courage and character to do the right thing and we don't and we probably won't.  We will have a next Hitler and it will be one of those billionaires and my guess would be Soros.  He will sink the world into  a new World War.

My guys

Gave Duncan and Jock a bath tonight.  They were really dirty and we are having warm weather so I took the opportunity to bathe them.  Jock immediately went out side and smeared his face in the dirt.  Another bath and it took me 20 minutes to get the dirt from around his eyes, on his nose and in his ears.  The wash cloth will definitely need bleaching after that.  It convinced me to make sure there is no dirt in their run to roll in.  Add to that, Jock has allergies.  So I guess he and Duncan will go out front on leashes from now until spring time grass comes in.  Now they are both asleep on my bed and I am going to join them.  Last week I had the heat on.  Tonight I have the air conditioning on.  Anyone who does not believe in global warming is an absolute fool.

Our new president

I don't know if Trump will turn out to be a good president or not.  I do know that every citizen in this country should pull for him to succeed because if he succeeds, we all succeed.  Maybe can light a fire under congress and actually get them to do something.  We can only hope.  As to Russia, maybe they did hack him.  Maybe they do have something on him, but I would really be surprised because Trump has just put it all out there for the whole world to see.  I seriously doubt that there is anything for them to blackmail him with.  As one political pundit put it when Trump was running when asked why there were never any sensational disclosures about Trump, he said "There is nothing to disclose.  He just puts it all out there himself."  So, I am skeptical of the Russians having anything on Trump.  Any other politician, yes, absolutely.  I saw part of Trump's speech today.  If he just delivers on his promises to take care of our vets, that will, in my book, make him a winner.  We have so failed our veterans and are still failing them.  So, that would make him a winner in my book.

Immigration-Legal and illegal

My family has been in this country for centuries.  I have a few Scottish ancestors, but most are Native Americans.  I really resent what has and is happening to my country.  The citizens of my country are being treated like toilet paper by the illegals with the pat on the head and the blessings of both the democrats and the republicans.  Those in Washington and on Wall Street do not see what we have to deal with on a daily basis.  They do not see that our schools have become a place to house illegals who do not what to learn, do not want to educate themselves, do not want to become citizens.  They and their parents do not give a tinkers damn about the country.  I do harp on this.  If you want a feel of why I am outraged, just make a trip to South Texas.  Then you will understand.  It is crawling with wetbacks.  And now we have the Californians moving here in hoards.  They crapped in their own homes and did not clean it up, so they are moving here to my state to crap on it too.  They come, they build expensive homes, they exist in those homes till they get tired of the overcrowding they have caused, then they move on to somewhere else to pollute that place as well.  Just like a swarm of locusts.  Man is the worst thing that ever happened to this world.  And mankind refuses to practice population control.  Man just breeds like rats.  At least most animals in lean times, do not reproduce.  But not man.  The worse the conditions, the more they screw and produce offspring they can't care for and expect the rest of the world to do their jobs for them.

We have had pandemics in the past.  Remember the plague?  It killed 3/4 of the world population.  Think it can't happen again?  It almost did with the last outbreak of Ebola.  It will happen again.  Something will get lose in the human population and it will be brutal.  But will we make any effort to control our numbers?  Oh hell no! And if a pandemic does not get lose, it will be famine. We cannot keep producing enough food for the exploding population. Nor will we have enough fresh water.  So we will be fighting wars over food and water.  Think that won't be nasty?  I'm glad I won't be alive to see it.  I feel for those who will.  Those who try to do the responsible thing will be the first to go.  I have seen most of this take place in the last 50 years.  In 50 years we have done everything in our power to destroy our only home.  Mankind is so stupid.

Trump

I don't know if Trump will be a good president or not.  I voted for him.  I just could not stomach voting for Clinton after watching her stand on stage and call all Trump supporters deplorable.  Because they did not agree with her, they are deplorable, less than what?  Deserving of no respect and deserving of no opinion.  Also, according to the liberals, not deserving of electing a president.  I have never seen anything like this since I have been voting.  I read an op-ed by a liberal chef who nailed it.  He said that the middle America got tired of the liberal east telling them that their beliefs and opinions did not matter.  That they got tired of being called stupid, dumb and not deserving of having a say in who ran the country.  He said he understood that the silent majority were fed up and angry.  That we had sent a message and we did.  It is to the benefit of everyone if Trump does succeed.  If our president fails, that means we have failed.  As to the illegal immigrant and refugee problem, I still stand behind what I have said in the past.  It has to stop.  It is not the right of a few to force the majority to support the world.  The illegals coming here do not come here to better the country nor to assimilate.  They come for what they can steal from the taxpayer.  Free medical, free food, free housing, free schooling.  And they are always demanding more and now they demand all benefits that citizens have.  This is wrong on so many levels.  This is our country.  And the taxpayer should have a voice in what they are forced to pay for when many, many, many are just keeping their heads above water themselves.  Why don't more citizens have children?  We can't afford it.  We don't get the free housing, free food and free medical because we work for a living and pay taxes. Ergo, we show and income and that makes us not eligible for any benefits.  And there is no affordable housing anymore.  None.  So we have the rich having a kid or two and we have the illegals having 10 to a family because those kids get them benefits.  It is time to cut out all benefits to non-citizens.  If an illegal wants to use our medical system, them force them to present a payment voucher from their consulate.

On to refugees.  Just. Stop. It.  They don't want to be a part of this country.  They want to bring their ways with them and fully expect the citizens of this country to cater to them.  Nope.  Not nohow.  Time to stop this as well.  They all  have countries.  Let them stay at home and fix their own countries.  This taxpayer is fed up.  And yes I certainly hope Trump keeps his promise to deport every one of the illegals, to arrest business owners that hire them, fine, prosecute, and jail them.  Stop the freebies and jobs and that will stop the illegals.  It is time we stopped being the welfare system for the world.  It is time we stepped up to the plate and took care of our own.
