We are in the middle of a 2 pandemics. The pandemic with Covid-19 has only been around for 5 months, but the pandemic with police brutality has been around for decades. I watched those protestors marching for change in how the police treat people of color and it makes me angry that in this day and age, the 21 century, we have police forces that view the very people they work for as people who they can bully and kill. And nothing is done. Rarely is a cop charged with his crimes. and when he is, he is usually let go with no punishment. Mr. Floyd was the victim of not only Minneapolis police but the police in Houston, Texas as well. And with cell phone cameras and police body cameras, it is more difficult for this brutality to be hidden. Watching those videos and knowing what has gone one, tells me that we have domestic terrorists on our police forces. There is nothing else to call them. And the worst domestic terrorist is in our White House. I tried to defend him. I really tried, but there is no defense. Trump is just plain evil. There is no other way to put it. He is evil. And so is his daughter.
And if he loses the election and I can only pray that he does, then it will indeed get ugly. He has no redeeming qualities. None. And neither do any of those who support him. I am really ashamed and appalled at what my country has become. My father must be spinning in his grave. He would have hated Trump.
