Been awhile

I keep trying to turn away from the circus that is our congress, but it is like a train wreck.  You can't stop looking.  I have never seen such a mess.  I thought the mess with Nixon was bad.  I thought that Reagan era was bad.  I thought the mess in the 90's was bad.  I thought the mess with Bush was bad.  I thought the mess under Obama was bad.  But this congress takes the cake on being a sewer.  There is not one damn adult in congress.  All the democrats are going to do is investigate Trump.  Screw Trump.  He doesn't make the laws, fund the agencies, make the government run.  Congress does, but congress seems to have forgotten that they are there to work for the people.  They seem to have forgotten that we pay them to take care of our country.  They are intent on just squandering money opposing Trump while the country crashes and burns.  Both damn parties.  They remind me of a daycare with all the toddlers fighting.  Those toddlers being selfish and demanding all the toys at once.  And the toy these 535 toddlers are fighting over is our very own government.  Please, please, people research your candidate and vote in some adults.  Demand that big money be taken out of politics.  Demand that there be transparency in political spending.  Demand an end to lobbyists.  Demand an end to fundraising.  Demand that politicians get set air time, set print time, set amount they can raise and please demand that after the election, any unspent funds be returned to the donors.  We have to fix our country.  The politicians won't.
