So everything that congress does is a) for the party and b) the rich. The middle class is only important when election rolls around. So here is what I want to see.
1) big money out of politics
2) lobbying made illegal, politicians taking bribes punished
3) politicians with a focus on the middle class
4) Banning PAC money from politics.
5) Fix our damned immigration mess.
6) Deport illegals.
7) Put the screws to the states to clean up their mess as well.
8) Take politics out of education. Fully fund every school district. Pay teachers a decent salary and put our kids first. They are the only future we have.
My with list. But it won't happen. I look at my own state, Texas, and the mess the hard right has made of it. Texas legislature used to take the attitude of people will solve their own problems. They would meet, take care of state business, and go home and stay out of people's business. Not anymore. They are all up in everyone's business, dictating everything to the individual working person, but not the rich. A doctor can kill you, but he will face no punishment. A politician is a rag, a tool to wipe up after the criminals.
