My son accuses me of giving Trump a pass when I express intense dislike for the newly elected congresswomen and me.  Trump cannot make any laws.  Trump cannot spend money congress does not give him.  Congress makes the laws and if they are not seasoned enough and can look out instead of in, those laws can be very dangerous.  Analogy:  The new congresspersons are sitting on their porches looking back into their house so all they see is their own family, or people.  You have to sit on that porch and look out.  You are not there to represent your agenda.  You are there for the good of your country.  The view looking is may be safer for you, but that is not your job.  Your job is to put the country first.  If you are a congressman or woman, your district comes first in context with the rest of the country.  You do not come first.  You are there at the bidding of your constituents.  You work for those constituents.  They are your employers.  Humility toward them would be acceptable, but arrogance has no place. 

Trump was a message and neither party got that message.  The message was loud and clear.  We the people are damn tired of supporting 535 spoiled toddlers who cannot put country before party.  Give us someone, some adult, to vote for,  But the democrats are still putting up a bunch of losers and the repugs are no better.  Maybe we just need to jettson everyone in congress and start over.  We could not do worse.
