Here are a few tips I can start with.
1) Waste noting. If you have a small amount of vegetables left over, put them in the freezer. Do this every time you fix vegetables and you will soon have enough to make a soup.
2) Learn to bake your own bread. It is not difficult. Just get a few simple things. Flour, yeast, milk if you can get it, salt. That's it for yeast bread. Biscuits are even easier to make. No cookbooks. Use Google.
3) If you have pasta, make good use of it.
4) Oatmeal. It is nutritious, it is loaded with fiber. If you have frozen fruit, add it to oatmeal and if you have some canned unsweetened applesauce or sweetened applesauce, use that instead of sugar.
5) Potato soup. Easy to make.
6) Do not use paper towles. Make some dishcloths by cutting up old t-shirts.
7) Learn to sew. No machine. Learn hand sewing and other crafts. When this is over, you will probably be in dire straits for awhile. So anything you can do for yourself will help.
8) Shop wisely. You can't eat toilet paper. You can, however eat beans. If you can get them, dried beans and store them in mason jars, cookie tins. Anything airtight. Canned goods should include all vegetables and fruit. Try to get the fruit without added sugar. Pasta if you can get it. And potatoes. Potatoes and beans go a long way with meals. They are nutritious and filling. Keep popcorn on hand for snacks. You don't need a popper. Just use any saucepan with a lid. Put a little vegetable oil in the bottom, cover the bottom with popcorn kernels, put pan on medium heat. When it starts to pop, start shaking the pan over the heat to keep the kernels evenly distributed. When the popping slows to one or two pops, remove from heat and pour n a bowl. Add salt and melted butter if you want.
