Light bulb moment.

I was reading about the co-founder of Facebook ditching his US citizenship to live in Singapore.  Why?  Less taxes.  Ok, he came here from Brazil.  We gave him citizenship.  He made his money in this country.  Then he ditches this country.  No loyalty for granting him citizenship.  See this is what really makes me mad about the super rich.  They act as though they live in a vacuum.  They make their money in this country.  Yet they feel no allegiance to their country.  Have you ever heard Romney make even one complimentary comment about the troops fighting in Afghanistan?  Have you ever heard him echo any sentiment about the loss of the lives of the troops and the sacrifices made by them and their families?  Have you ever even heard him say "Thank you"?  He doesn't feel that he owes them anything.  He feels that he was and is entitled to have made all his money.  He was owed this.  And he thinks he did it all on his own.  Hello? Where does he live?  Did he not make that money in the good ole USofA?  So my gripe with the ultra rich is that they give allegiance only to money. They use us to make their money, then kick us on the way out.   As to the co-founder of Facebook, where will he run when China decides to confiscate his billions?  Or he faces some trumped up charge?  Where will the expats be should a war break out in their new country?  Since they renounced their citizenship here, we won't help them.  You should feel something for the country that made it possible for you to have all that money.  And you should feel something for the men and women fighting for your right to make that money.  Instead, Romney and his ilk dodged the draft, made sure their sons and daughters did not join the military.  That service if for the lower classes.  Well, guess what, those lower classes have more integrity in their little fingers than people like Romney have in their whole body.  Disgusting.
