Politicians in general

I get really angry at the idiots in Washington.  And it really does no good.  Just email your congressman and senators every day.  Gripe every day.  Maybe someday we will have a congress that works for the taxpayer.  You know, those people who pay their salaries and their gold-plated perks.  Nah.  Will never happen.  My great congressman, Bill Flores, promised that if we allowed drilling everywhere then we would have $1.79/gal gas.  Well, we are out-producing Saudi and I am paying $3.49/gal. Good ole Bill never mentions the cost of gasoline now.  Good old Bill never mentions anything of importance.  He did write a letter to The Eagle, our local newspaper, explaining why he voted against the violence against women act.  According to Saint Bill, he voted against this bill because there was a provision in it that when a citizen was busted on a reservation for a crime, then he was subject to the laws of the tribe who own the reservation.  And that would deny him his Constitutional rights.  I call bull.  Saint Bill voted against this bill because he considers women as second class citizens until he needs their votes.  And, damn, if you are on reservation land and break their laws, then you should be subject to their justice.  Yep.  Saint Bill has been caught in another lie.  But then this is nothing new.
