Where are the statesmen and women?

For the first time in my life I am ashamed of being an American. I am not ashamed of the hard working people in this country.  I am not ashamed of those who try to help others and make things easier for others when they can.  I am not ashamed of those citizens who will take any job they can get to care for their families.  I am very ashamed of those in Washington calling themselves Congressmen.  What they are are small, stingy, stupid, greedy idiots.  They are wannabe rich.  They are the ones who have pirated taxpayer funds and now want to hoard all their ill gotten gains.  Do some research and see which members of Congress receive farm subsidies, grants for whatever, have their wives on some corporation's payroll or working for a lobbyist.  Congress isn't called a millionaires club for nothing.  Just like Rick Perry, they might not be rich when they go into Congress, but they will be when they have been there awhile.  Good ole Governor Perry of Texas was definitely not rich when he got the Governorship, but he is now and he sure didn't get rich off his salary.  Texas is not that generous.
