Our Pious Congress

We preach Democracy to the world.  We say, "Look at us.  You need to be like us.  We have a Democracy and it is great."  In reality, we do not have a democracy.  If we did, then our congress would be working with our elected president to make the country work.  Instead, we have a House of Representatives that had made it their mission to block everything our President tries to do.  They have even stated that this is their sole goal.  That and pushing religion onto the country- Christian religion.  You are not allowed to believe in anything but Christian religion.  Even the lose is snipping at the heels of the President.  King Mitt and Queen Ann are still pissed that they could not buy the White House.  They are pissed that the 47% did not buy into their belief that they are entitled to sit in the White House.  And this is the front that we are presenting to the world.  We are presenting a picture of a congress that so hates a black man in the White House that they will paralize the entire country to keep him from succeeding.  They would rather throw away our entire government than work with a black man.  I have never been ashamed of my country before, not even when Nixon was impeached.  I am ashamed now.  We are all part of this country, not just the tea turds and the republicans.  Not just the democrats and liberals and libertarians.  We all have a voice in this country.  That congress is there to represent all of us, not their lobbyists.  Putin felt free to do what he did because our President is being held hostage by our congress.  We do not have a working government.  Yes, I am ashamed.  And until we get the money out of politics, we will not see a change.  Maybe not even then,  If our President parted the Atlantic Ocean and walked across that land to kick Putan's ass, the tea turds in the congress would be trying to find ways to punish him for that.  This has been the most worthless congress I have ever seen and I have been voting since 1971.  We truly do have welfare queens and kings and they are called congressmen.  I would be ashamed to take that money.  But you have to have some morals to feel shame and they have no morals.
