War Drums

I am still blown away that McCain wants to get us into a war with Russia.  McCain, of all people, should know better.  A war between superpowers with not end well or the world.  Everyone should be required to read the novel by Nevil Shute entitled "On The Beach".  I had nightmares for a month after I read it.  And slide shows of the bloody battlefields of WW11 should be manditory viewing for all highschoolers and college students.  Some of those photos of the landings at Normandy would make anyone think twice about war.  My Dad was UDT in WW11 in the South Pacific.  The Navy went into Japan after the bombs were dropped.  What he saw gave him nightmares for years.  His statement was that every politician should have to view that.  If the politicians had had to view that, there would never be another war.  War is not the answer and apparently the Crimea wanted to be annexed by Russia.  We need to stay the hell out of it.  We need to fix our country first.
