More stupidity from the politicians

It seems that each day brings more stupidity from the politicians.  They voted today to pass a bill further restricting abortion.  They passed a bill in the House to prohibit women from using their own money to purchase insurance to pay for abortion.  They further added that hospitals could refuse to preform an abortion on a woman even if her life was in danger.  We have a Speaker of the House that smokes.  He has stated that it is his right to smoke.  If he smokes his whole life, he will more than likely develop a) Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease b)Emphysema c) Lung cancer d) all of these.  He is on government dole and the taxpayer will be forced to pay for his care.  This is expensive care.  It can drag on for years before one dies from it.  The inhalers alone, the last time I bought one, was $70 and lasted 20 days.  This has been 8 years since I delt with it.  Imagine how expensive those treatments are now.  However, he feels he has the right to do this.  He feels he has the right to control his body, but is unwilling to give that same right to a woman.  This is also the same person who wants  to kill medicaid, food stamps, all safety nets for the poor and the children.  This is the same politician who refuses to allocate money to educate children.  Yet he would force a woman to have a child she cannot feed and clothe.  He would force a woman to have this child with no medical care and not even a doctor to deliver said baby because she has no money.  The only goal is to just get that baby born then to hell with it.  These are the same people who do not want government meddling in their lives but have no trouble meddling themselves.  Anyone with me here on the outrage?  If we are going to allow a woman to die trying to have a child, then seems only fair to me when a man commits rape, he have his penis lopped of, chopped up and force fed to him.  Doncha ya agree?
