Perry

First off, I do not like Perry.  I think he is an idiot and only in politics to benefit Perry.  That being said, I think the fact that he refused to disavow the preacher that called Mormonism a cult does make him a bigger man than the other politicians.  He stated that he refused to condemn him because the preacher has a right to say what he wants.  Perry is right.  We are forgetting  this fundamental right in all the political correctness.  We are guaranteed this right in our Constitution.  That Constitution does not say we have to be politically correct.  So I am with Perry on this.  Just because you don't agree with someone does not mean they should not have the right to say it.  I think it was Benjamin Franklin that said "I disagree with what you say but I will defend to the death your right to say it."  This is what we are forgetting.  We have fundamental rights.  We had better defend them.
