Prop. 8 in California

Proposition 8 in California was struck down by the courts.  Proposition 8, among other things, banned gay marriage.  The Mormon church was the driving force behind passing this law in the first place.  They put the money and people on the ground to push for the passage of this law.  Now we have a Mormon wanting desperately to be our Commander in Chief.  Where do you think these voters and taxpayers who are gay will stand then? Back in the shadows, of course.  And just think how they will be treated if Rick Santorum should get in the White House! We will all be forced into his rigid beliefs.  No contraceptives.  No abortion.  No medical care for the poor women and children.  And, of course, gays are the dregs of the human race because God has told these people so.  I don't buy it.  I personally think they are afraid of gays.  I think this hits too close to home and they are afraid they might be gay.  We know that a lot of Catholic priests are.  Witness the abuse of young boys at their hands.
