What's good for the goose

I hope everyone saw the articles about attempts to screw the poor.  One senator introduced a bill to make it mandatory for those applying for federal assistance or unemployment benefits to take drug tests.  A Democratic senator attached a rider making it mandatory for all lawmakers to pass the same drug test.  The senator who introduced the bill, a Republican of course, withdrew the bill.  And in Virginia a Republican politician introduced a bill into the Virginia legislature  making it mandatory for a woman wanting an abortion to have a sonogram and pay for it herself before she was allowed an abortion.  A Democratic legislator added a rider making it mandatory for a man seeking treatment or erectile dysfunction to have a mandatory rectal exam and a stress test.  The Republican withdrew the bill.  This is an out and out attack on the poor of this country.  I live in Texas and we do have the mandatory sonogram.  Were I younger and pregnant, I would have the sonogram and have the bill sent to Rick Perry.  I would like to see all pregnant women in Texas do this.  Not sayin I would have the abortion, but would most certainly have the sonogram.  If he refused to pay for the sonogram, I would name him the father and force him to pay for the DNA testing to prove otherwise.
