I keep seeing the stupidity of the Republican's idea of a woman. Weak, not to bright. I have to say I know the strongest woman. She is my little sister. One year ago she buried her 15 year old son. He was her baby and a sweetie. He was not sick, never did drugs, just an all around great kid. He was coming home one night almost a year ago after being out playing basketball with friends. They got to within 5 minutes of my sisters and he just died. She planned the funeral. She made it all about him. She went through the funeral and held it together. She stood strong. Had that been me, the doctors would have had to keep me sedated and they would have had to drag me out of that coffin. She is still grieving, but she is managing to move on. She is one strong woman. I was talking to my son, who has two small children of his own, about his aunt. This is what he told me: She has to stay strong and stay here for her other son. She has to be his rock. If I ever lost both my children, I would have to go with them. I'm not sure I believe in the after-life, but what if I am wrong and there is a 5 year old looking for Daddy and wondering where he is. Both my son and my sister are so much better parents that I could ever be. Both are very strong people. I am proud of my sister and very proud of my son.
They did an autopsy on my nephew. My sister got no answers. They found nothing wrong with him. There was no blockage. There was no enlarged heart. There was no hardening of the ventricle. There was nothing. The doctor she worked for told her that all he could tell her was that he was probably having an arrhythmia and could not have been saved unless he was on the table when he had this arrhythmia. I forgot to add that my sister did the CPR on her son. She blames herself for losing him. Since that night, I have talked her down a couple of times. She came very close once to committing suicide. She didn't. For that I am thankful. So anytime I hear a so-called man saying that women need decisions made for them, I think of my little sister and smile. That woman does not need anyone making decisions for her and if anyone tried, she would kick their rears and never break stride. I love her dearly.
