I made it through the holidays. Looks like Washington is up to their usual tricks. Republicans would rather see the country sink than vote on a bill to save it. Notice those who are voting against this bill are those who are planning a run for the White House in 2016? And I hope none of them get elected. It isn't that I am anti Republican. There are many Republicans that I could vote for. Jon Huntsman is one. And I have been impressed with Chris Christie. However, the teabaggers leave me cold. They are not interested in the country. They are only interested in what they and the fundamentalists want . You could say these narrow minded fundamentalists are our Taliban. The only difference between them and the radical Islamists is that they have not taken to shooting the rest of us yet. Don't rule it out though. Oh, yeah, I was all set to vote for McCain in 08 until he trotted out Sarah Palin. She scared me to death. She and the others like her have a case of the stupids and are proud of it.
And It really irritates me to see the so called Christians playing God. Apparently they do not trust God to do his job. They are really into telling the rest of us how to live. Hate gays. Don't think God condones hate in any form. No abortion. Let the mother die if necessary. There is no such thing as rape. As I said, stupid and proud of it. What I want to see is all members of Congress doing what is right and good for the country as a whole. We are all in this together.
